Rooms were clean (cleaning each day, even on sunday), breakfast very good as for Italy- ham, scrambled eggs, cheese, bread, sweet croissants, jam, honey, cake (at weekends there was more choice- also mini foccacias were prepared). Staff was kind and helpful, english-speaking. Quiet rooms, we didn't hear noises from a restaurant or from the other rooms. Safe, hairdryer and fridge in each. Near to Lecco Maggianico train station. Nice view for the mountains.

Small things- there wasn't any towel hanger in one room. There was only rain shower head, no normal (handhead) one.

My stay at Hotel Nicolin in Lecco was exceptional! The hotel boasts a modern renovation that adds to the overall comfort and atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The room had everything I needed, and I was pleasantly surprised by the availability of excellent tea—a rarity in Italy! On top of that, the hotel’s restaurant, featured in the Michelin guide, was absolutely delicious, offering a dining experience that exceeded all expectations. The breakfast was divine, with a variety of fresh and flavorful options. I highly recommend this gem in Lecco!

The staff is super kind and helpful. They seem like happy people in general, who enjoy running this hotel/restaurant. The breakfast was very Italian style, mostly bread, cakes and some cold cuts, but of good quality. The coffee and the juices were nice. The room is comfortable and the whole hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, with a very nice view of the mountains. Their restaurant seems to be a popular one, and it's actually a Michelin star rewarded place.

it was a great stay. Beds were really comefortable breakfast was great fresh bread, good italian cheese great pastry if you like sweet for breakfast. for lunch and dinner i recommend restaurant in the hotel. it is pricy but worth it. how often do you stay in a hotel with Michelin star restaurant? we got to the hotel by train from Lecco . better train than bus in my opinion as faster.

The view was spectacular, staff was great, the food was not too diverse, but high-quality and tasty. The towels given were clean and qualitative.

The lighting in the room was not the best and switching it on and off was a struggle. The location is slightly far from the city center.

I was extremely happy with the size and quality of the hotel.ot was modern and spacious and quiet.

I have no criticism of the hotel It was a little further from town and the bus drivers were not very helpful or understood English. Most disappointing about Lecco is that there are no taxis. I was very grateful to Giovanni who drove me to the station.to catch a bus.

We stayed at the hotel just for one night and it was great! We found the place recommended on the Michelin guide and decided to try both the hotel and the restaurant. The room was clean and confortable. The restaurant was superb and definitely worth a visit. Nice and friendly staff.

The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. The room was cosy and beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very very nice, it is not big but full of everything you need to start the day and very very tasty. The breakfast also took place outside which has a great atmosphere and is a really nice place to sit at.

The room we received did not match the reservation, we were expecting at least 4 double beds (quadruple room) but it only had two double beds. Since we were a party of 5 we needed to add a folding bed into the room.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was absolutely superb.

The directions to find the hotel are not clear. Out satnav kept taking us to the wrong side of the road. It kept leading us to a no entry. We eventually found the destination after asking a gentleman walker.
