Upon arriving at the accommodation, we were greeted by a gentleman who took us to the back area where the bungalow accommodations were located. Ours was the very last one in the back. The place looked nice. As soon as we opened the room, we checked the bathroom right away—those tend to be the most unpleasant—but to our surprise, this one was quite good and, most importantly, clean. Towels and a few scattered Hawaiian flowers were waiting for us on the bed. The sheets were nice, clean, and fragrant. The room was really well-tidied. There was also air conditioning, which worked well. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was included in our stay, and we had two options to choose from. The first was scrambled eggs, and the second was a fruit smoothie bowl. I had the first one, and my wife had the second. The gentleman prepared everything fresh, and the portions were large and very tasty.

As for long-term accommodation, I probably wouldn't recommend it. The place is suitable for one or two nights. In the evenings, there's noise from the neighbors—they have a lot of roosters and dogs. They play music and pray, which is perfectly fine, just not when you're there with a small child who needs to sleep. You can hear birds walking on the roof, and it's quite loud. You can hear everything that happens outside. After talking to other guests, it was confirmed to me that this happens every night. The accommodation is nice and reasonably priced, so if noise doesn't bother you, as it doesn't bother me, this is exactly the place you're looking for.

its really really not sound proof. we are just had some talk after we pray at 6:30am, suddenly the tenant beside of our room come and knock our door because they can hear our voice, which we didnt even laugh or talk loud. we really had some small conversation with a normal voice. but other than that, everything is good.

This is literally a perfect hostel. The friendliest and most attentive staff ever, it's beautifully decorated and clean all the time. You can rent scooters for a cheap price, they are in very good condition, and get around the island quick and comfortable. You can buy breakfast and lunch/dinner for a small price and everything I tried was very very tasty. I extended for a few nights because I enjoyed the hostel with its social atmosphere so much :) Oh and the beds are also incredibly comfy, you even need the blanked because the AC works so well ^^

Excellent value for money. I stayed in one of the cute cabins. The rooms are small but with everything you need. The hostel is close to the main harbor, staff are friendly and helpful, and they provide good information on how to move and where to go around the island. Breakfast was included. Everything is for an incredible price!

It would've been nice that there was a bit more of an atmosphere

Location is very good, Near to the Harbor. Komang is an amazing Host! He organized for me a Driver who took me to the west and east side of the nusa Penida as I cant drive a motorbike. Komang is so nice and helpful, he plays also a guitar and took me and another solo traveler to the Bar were he played with the Band. The bed was clean and comfortable, rooms are very compact and its good for a solo traveler to stay and meet other people. Komang helped me to book a snorkling tour with a good price and at the end he took us to the Harbor!

i would stay again. the staff were great and friendly. beds were comfy, they had curtains, a light and a plug socket. room has ac which was nice. the krusty krab as an extension is a nice place. live band is talented and the food is nice. wifi was good as well! it was nice drinking arack with you guys!

location a bit far from everything but you. eed a scooter around the island anyway which you can rent from here so thats not too bad. there was a day i couldnt find any staff to ask questions. i wonder where they were 👀 still gets a 10 rating from me 🙂

One of the best stays I’ve had during my time in Bali. The staff are absolutely incredible. Komang and G were so kind and gave me rides into town to use the ATM and get food because I myself cannot drive a scooter. also, Komang got up super early in the morning to take me to T- Rex to get sunrise pictures.. we left at 5:15 am. the facilities are clean and the dorms have privacy curtains that go all the way around. for the price point and level of hospitality you just can’t beat it. 10/10

We loved interior and vibe in the guest house. We stayed there when Balinese people had celebration. On Each door owner put decoration, after breakfast they gave us to try Balinese sweet. It was very nice of them.

Houses were quite close to each other therefore you can hear neighbours.

we had a reservation here, but due to a damage at the ferry we didn’t made it to Nusa Penida. as we didn’t know this before, we canceled last minute. refund was not possible but staff at penida krusty hill was super helpful and offered free of charge room for different dates. another miss fortune kept us from coming, however again staff was very understanding and we really appreciated the support. if we shall make it to Nusa Penida, this is definitely the place we want to stay

1. Amazing owner: Saying how amazing the owner, Komang, of this hostel is would be an understatement. I've backpacked for more than a year in total at this point and I can tell you that this is hands down one of the most heartwarming hostels you'll ever get to experience. The owner will greet and treat you with his family-like hospitality and sunny smile from day 1. 🤩 2. Super Comfy Bed: The mattress is soft, cozy, and has a much higher quality than some of the beds you'll experience in other hotels. 😴 3. Great value: One of the cheapest among the entire island, high recommended for long-term travelers. The trick is to book a day or 2 (just to be safe) and tell Komang that you would like to book for more days when you meet him. It's a bit cheaper and a win win situation for both side: He wouldn't have to pay Booking.com their cut, thus leading to lower price tag for you. 😁

Can't really think of any tbh, you get a lot for what you pay for and obviously you're not paying the amount for a 10 stars hotel at Canggu or Uluwatu. 💪🏻
