We had a fantastic week at the resort. Weather was favorable for all the activities we planned: mangrove forest cruise, jet ski, ATV, hike to the waterfall, sky bridge and cable car, and cultural experience in the town and surrounding area. We enjoyed the complementary yoga one evening as well. The hotel staff is very welcoming and accommodating. The facilities were very nice, though we spent more time in the sea, rather than pool. The food had a good variety and various restaurants within premises had all the options we needed, from very relaxing pool side bar to a fine dining restaurant (food was excellent).

The scenery was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Although for us the remote location was great you probably wouldn't want to stay for more than a week without transportation.

So in the beginning I arrived quite early but the room wasn't ready however I was informed that I will be getting a room upgrade due to not enough rooms from the ones I booked, I had a bit late check in but the Senior Front Office Assistant Manager Hakimin Hamidon, have sent a sparkling wine to our room as an apology and that was a nice kind gesture 🙏🏻 The next day our flight got delayed and I wanted to extend my check out time which is usually with at a fees , however they were generous enough to have the late check out free of charge for us as a complimentary extension and as a consideration of our delayed flight!l. This has made our day ! and made us forget about the late check-in and made our stay exceptional and relaxing. Thank you so much to the kind staff and managers!

The location of the hotel far from the Chenang beach. Great for nature lovers. Very calm and perfect for peace and holiday break. Long beach and had a wonderful and awesome sunset view! Breakfast restaurant was good with many choices even though you have to walk far from the room. Good for a morning exercise! But need to think for elderly too.

Stunning sunset pool but dark water pool, can't really see whether the water is clean or not. May be need to change the tiles. The room need to install apps to watch the TV. The car park need to pay if to park near the hotel (they have free parking also). I don't think that should be collected from the guest as we have paid for the hotel and facilities.

Lovely resort at Tanjung Rhu beach. The resort is beautifully landscaped and quite relaxing away from the hustle bustle of the city. The rooms are spacious and have all the necessary facilities required. Excellent staff - nothing is too much for them. The wildlife and birds are a treat. Really enjoyed our stay.

It’s the finer details that let it down. The rooms are big but tired, in need of renovation. The equipment like the ironing board and hair dryer is from the 80’s! There was dust on the bathroom cabinets. The biggest disappointment however was the beach; so much dead wood, plastic and rubbish collected end of day that it’s impossible to go for a swim.

Customer Service and people providing it are Top Notch - from Managers, to folks cleaning your rooms to gardeners. The resort is beautiful and rooms are big - you feel like being at home, vs cramped in 4 walls. The beach is very private and there no crowds - sometimes you feel like you are the only ones on the beach. Both pools (adult and children's) are large and clean. Restaurants have good food and are not outrageously expensive (taking into account US Currency rates). Bonus points - there is a local food place about 300 meters from the resort (walking on the beach) and you can get excellent local food there at a ridiculously low price.

Loved the location , loved the staff , loved how accommodating they were and b fast was huge with live stations .

We hated the cocktails and how they didn’t know how to keep food hygiene. And I found resort expensive for what they offer ..

I have been upgraded to Presidential Suite completed with direct personal lift to 4th floor with acceptable extra fees. The suite was huge completed with jacuzzi, living and dinning area, huge wardrobe & dressing areas. Both my room and living room windows were facing to wide sandy beach front with very good view to Andaman Sea and islands. There were good amenities, tea & coffee refills sachets, comfy bed and very good Wi-Fi connection. The staffs were friendly and polite, good breakfast with tasty foods and very nice and polite F&B staffs at the The Sand Restaurant. The location was very good to those peoples who looking for peaceful and quiet place for relaxing. This resort having a nice reading area, Spa, good restaurant & café, recreational area and two sides of swimming pools for adults and family with children. The distance from Langkawi Airport only took 30 minutes to reach to this resort with self-drive car.

This is an old hotel and there was no lift to room at 2nd to 4th floor. The suite air-conditioning a bit warm could be due to high outside temperature.
