The room we were staying in was very elegant and well equipped and the staff was always very kind and friendly. Everything was kept always very clean and the possibility to have breakfast on the terrace overseeing the port of Ancona was very nice experience. There was always personnel of the hotel on the reception no matter which hour and the guys arranging the parking situation around the hotel were doing a great job. The breakfast buffet was served in a very representative way and the was a huge choice of sweets and small desserts and if you wish a healthy and less sweet breakfast there we seeds, nuts and good selection of cheese.

What was definitely disappointing for us was the fitness room of the hotel which was advertised as fully equipped but actually was in a cramped room in the basement with very basic equipment. And as for a 4 star hotel of this price class it was not adequate. As a direct comparison we stayed in a 3 star hotel in Torino just before we arrived in Ancona and there the gym was three times the size and much better equipped.

Hotel with stunning views of the port and city. Wonderful staff. Cleanliness and tidiness. The best ratio of price and quality. Michelin restaurant in the building opposite. We came to celebrate a birthday and visit Loreto. The hotel gave us a gift and a room upgrade. We got a lovely clean room with a huge balcony. The room had bathrobes, slippers, and excellent cosmetics. Absolutely everything is provided. A toy, treat and hygiene items were provided for our dog. It's very nice that the hotel is dog friendly. The staff was very friendly! We arrived by car, gave the keys and an employee parked our car. In the evening we had dinner at the Genevra restaurant. it was truly an exquisite and unforgettable dinner.

The hotel was fabulous, the room was great and all the staff made us very welcome.

We stayed at the hotel bistro for dinner. My husband had lasagne which was very nice but to be honest it was a child’s portion. My salmon wasn’t brilliant. However the tiramisu was superb. The bistro menu offered no starters! The main courses were limited! Although we loved the hotel we were given no basic information either verbally or on information sheets in the room regarding breakfast time or checkout time - we had to ask. The shower wasn’t brilliant but that’s just a technicality!

The room was a great size, the bed was very comfortable and it was lovely and quiet with a good amount of light. I mentioned that it was my partner's birthday during our stay and the hotel gave us a hotel of Champagne which was such a lovely surprise and gesture! :) great drinks at the bar too.

It would be good to have a few more staff for massages etc - we tried to book two on a weekend day and it wasn't possible as there was only one masseuse who was booked up.

Location is excellent with a great view. The restaurant/bar overlooks the port and the old part of the city. The menu is short but offers excellent food. The in house baking is superb. Rooms are spacious and attractive.

Check in did not go smoothly. A room with two beds was requested and confirmed prior to arrival via Booking.com messaging service. A double room with two beds was not available that night. The hotel dealt with this issue in an appropriate manner and gave us two rooms. We moved into the pre-booked room the next day.

The staff were excellent; Friendly, very helpful and informative. This applied to all of the front desk staff, the restaurant staff and the breakfast staff. The restaurant was high class, with high quality meals reasonably priced. The breakfasts (though I paid for separately) were very reasonably priced with a very expansive range of food choices with fresh quality food. I very much appreciated a room upgrade at the hotel’s own discretion. Great view of the port and sunsets. There is also an easy short bus ride to the Porto-Novo beach south of Ancona.

Location was great from sea port viewpoint although was on edge of Centro Storico with reasonable walks involved for some of the attractions (e.g. Passetto beach and war monument involved an easy 45 minute along the flat Via Garibaldi extension). However for me I enjoyed the walking.

First Class customer service at this amazing Hotel! From the first minute, everyone from the front desk manager, the manager, every single employee welcomed us and made a great effort to make our stay the best experience! We had a very pleasant stay, our room was big and very clean, we had an amazing breakfast while overlooking from the luxurious decorated lounge the port and the sea. The warmth and politeness of everyone was incomparable! We will definetely come and visit again! Thank you so much!

Good quality furnishings and tasteful decor, modern facilities. Breakfast variety was good and my allergies could be accommodated for. Very pleasant staff

Though it overlooks the port, It is not as close to the centre streets as I thought. It’s on a hill which means it’s several (felt like at least a 100) steps down and back up - not easy in the hot sun or if you have mobility problems.

The staff was amazing! There was actually more to see in the town, than we realized. Be ready to walk up some hills or ask about the bus. Much faster to get a round Terraces are lovely but could use some updating Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was great! The beach Miriam recommended was delightful portonovo and Georgiana made a great suggestion to take the bus to passata. We walked half way back and stumbled upon a marketplace too. I could have used 3 days vs 2.

Challenging to navigate to the rooms Like a labyrinth

Buffet breakfast was great, an assortment of pastries, toast, cereal, yogurt and fruit. Also gluten free options. You can also request scrambled or boiled eggs and bacon, and a coffee such as cappuccino. A great outdoor terrace for breakfast. Hotel is conveniently located near the ferry port and will store your bags if you have a late ferry departure.
