Beautiful

They changed the full amount in dollars 3 days before we arrived. They should have charged in Argentinean pesos which would give us 50% off or maybe even more. VISA card rate in Argentina now is $1 to $600 pesos

Incredible setting for the price of the room and the food including breakfast was good compared to some places I’ve read about. Beautiful surroundings. Get a taxi to Iguazu and a tour guide there or just walk around yourself. Do not book a “tour guide” from the hotel or suggested by the taxi driver.

You will need to get taxis to and from town. It’s further out than it looks to walk. But restaurants and the hotel can call cheap taxis for you as there is no Uber. Check the price before you get in. Nothing to do with the hotel but we got scammed by a “tour guide” called Ramon so just book a taxi to Iguazu and take the official tour guide or wok around yourself.

Pretty much everything, but especially enjoyed the pool after a day of sightseeing. The dinners were excellent and our waiter, which we had every night, provided exceptional service. We also liked how quiet & peaceful the environment was.

I felt that they could have provided at least one free bottle of water in our room, especially for when we arrived, considering they tell you not to drink the water from the tap. The only option was buying water from our bar fridge at inflated prices. Also the pool bar seemed to either not have, or run out of, a lot of options for drinks, limiting was was available.

Stayed at Selvaje Lodge for 1 night in late June as we had two days to visit Iguazu National Park - 1 day for Brazil and 1 day for Argentina. It was a nice and quiet stay here in the middle of the rainforest, it doesn't seem to be that busy this time of year so most times felt like we were the only guests there. Our room was nice and clean, great view of the back forest. No complimentary water (it doesn't seem to be common in hotels throughout the country) but the mini fridge is stocked with various items. As most places in Argentina, communication is done easily thru Whatsapp. Decent breakfast- alot of bread, pastries, cereal, fruit. No hot items, except for coffee. Very nice ala carte dishes in Green Mandioca (their restaurant). On our check-out day we requested for late check-out time since we had a full day in Iguazu and a late flight and needed the comfort of a room. They charged us just half the room rate to stay until 8PM which was great! Hotel is 20-25 mins from both Brazil/Argentine park entrances and they arranged our remis for us ahead of time which was also great. Will stay here again!

The lodge is located just in the middle of the jungles, overall very cosy, relaxing atmosphere. Nice area around the pool. If you want to relax in the tranquility for a couple of days after a long journey that is the place. Nice personnel at the reception, speaking good English.

Smell of dampness in the room. All cloth is still stinky after the few days, need to wash all your cloth afterwards. No Uber in the area, price for taxi offered by the hotel is overpriced. Mediocre breakfast. Beyond location from everything.

Jungle oasis with all the comforts. We lay by the huge pool with butterflies fluttering all around us. Decent restaurant with a truly amazing pastry chef. Beautiful spacious room, completely private

Using their drivers is expensive but you can’t beat the no-hassle convenience, especially to head over the Brazil border to see the falls from the other side. That went like clockwork.

Gorgeous property and super friendly staff. Definitely, hit all the marks for what we wanted: jungle surrounds, gorgeous architecture, comfortable accommodations. They didn't speak too much English unfortunately but thankfully I understand Spanish pretty well. The included breakfast was plentiful and very yummy. We even enjoyed one dinner there and the food was actually really good. Short drive from the park and the town. They also set us up with our excellent driver/guide Jorge who basically planned and facilitate our entire 2 day itinerary to see both Brazilian and Argentinian sides of Iguazu Falls.

None!

Immersed in the jungle, this is a wonderful and very quiet hotel with spacious rooms and relaxed staff. Swimming pool area is great for unwinding after visiting the falls but also for spotting stunning butterflies. They also recommended great drivers for our day trips! Onsite restaurant is great - lots of locals even make the effort to go there.

Minor detail was the pool bar staff which didn’t really proactively asked you what you wanted or clean up the tables/sunbeds after use. They could earn so much more ;)

Beautiful location and buildings. The atmosphere was spectacular. The pool was cold but gorgeous. All meals at the lodge were great. Staff was amazing. Car service was convenient. Bed was comfortable (even the pillows which I rarely find I like!!). Shower was great!! Loved our stay and would highly recommend!!!

The room wasn’t perfectly clean. Would be nice to have a mirror and trash can outside of the bathroom as well.

Beautiful facility, nestled in the forest. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food at the restaurant. Would absolutely return.

Some mold in the bathroom. It is a crazy wet climate, but still. =/ Laundry was said to be done same day if left before 8:30am, but I had to go to the off site laundromat the next day to retrieve things I had depositedat 8am the day prior. Not a big deal, but was unnecessarily stressful when on a schedule. They did their best to accommodate on this slight issue too.
