Very friendly family who were so welcoming. Exceptionally clean and the very best shower in any of the many Greek studios I have ever stayed in . Very good water pressure and consistently hot water.

We just had an awesome stay at Zorbas hotel. The owners were so friendly, nothing was too much. They even checked us in at 3 in the morning because we arrived by ferry after our flight got changed. The room was small, but that didn't matter much as most of the time we were outside. The room was very clean, got cleaned daily. Clean towels every other day. We had a room with a lovely view over Pythagoreio. We had breakfast a few times and that was good and filled us up till lunch. A good variety of food with coffee/ tea and juice. The living room has lots of books and some magazines in a variety of languages. Pythagoreio is a picturesque place to stay for several days or a week. We rented a car for 3 days and saw lots of other places in Samos, Pythagoreio was our favourite. There are several beaches, 2 of them have mainly sand and some pebbles. If we ever go to Samos again we would definitely stay here. I can highly recommend Zorbas hotel.

A cozy family run studio-hotel. We had our room with kitchenette, and enjoyed a lot these own breakfasts on balcony what opened to street-side. Room was mid-size, enough for two. Aircon worked well, there was also a propeller in ceiling, quite useful. Bathroom looked like newly renovated - been in many apartments all over Greece and it was best we had so far. Friendly staff, good location, everything worked well. Greetings! Twice a week a small open farm-truck stopped in front of our hotel with veggies and fruits - so no need to carry from supermarket.

Found a bit risky to drive on narrow streets, so we parked our car on big road. However it is not far, so no problem with this.

Owners were super-friendly and helpful. I had an early flight and a heavy case to carry up 2 flights of stairs from the room to reception. They arranged a taxi for me and the owner got up early to offer help. They could not do enough, and it felt like I was a valued guest. Room was super clean and well equipped, with thoughtful touches like a makeup flannel. The garden area was a lovely space with a hanging chair and tables and chairs for al fresco eating and relaxing. I would 100% recommend Zorbas and hope to stay again soon!

-Airconditioning could be better: dry air -Safety deposit box in the room was in an inconvenient place (practically at the floor) -Hotel location was perfect for me, but seems less suitable for people with mobility issues: halfway a rather steep hill, and not so close to the beaches as it looks like on the map That being said: I would certainly consider staying here again - it's a lovely place!

If you're staying in Samos, the right place is definitely Zorbas Hotel & Studios, located just a 30-second walk to the center of Pythagoreion, with a stunning harbor view. The mini kitchen in the room is fully equipped with everything you might need, and the friendly and helpful staff make your stay even more pleasant. I stayed in a wonderful sea-view studio for 4 nights, and I definitely think it's an excellent option in Samos. Thank you for everything!

Staff, own parking place, possibility to use shower on last day (after check out) before going to airport. Good quality bathroom (not so common in Greek appartments...).

This hotel has different rooms, this year was fully booked and we only got a small one (still nice and comfy with kitchenette and balcony). We missed a simple fan (air con was new and good).

Fantastic hosts, the whole family runs the business and they are super-polite, helpful and adorable. Very clean rooms with exceptional view.

If I had to say something negative, it is only from my perspective that the kitchen in my room was on the balcony so every time I needed something, I had to go out to take something from the fridge and the AC was stopping. It is a minor thing and probably only in the room I was in, it is not something that will ruin your stay, only negative for practical reasons, I would stay in Zorbas again anytime.

Perfect location just a short walk from the port. Our room was large with a good size balcony and sea view. There was a small area with kitchen facilities. There was a safe deposit box. The room was serviced everyday with clean towels provided. Best was the warm welcome from the lovely family who run it. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly highly recommend this lovely hotel.

There was nothing to dislike.

Beautiful location, very clean and run by the sweetest family. Very close to everything (2 min walk). But not for sore knees though, because you have to climb. The view from the terras is worth the stay. Shout out to Pigi and Dora for their care and hospitality. Oh, and the Greek breakfast is made with ingredients out of their fathers garden who also likes to joke ;)
