Friendly staff. Wifi was very good at the main property. The location was good - 20 minute walk into the town centre. The pool was well maintained and clean.

The pool and gym hours (should open earlier and close later). The beds were not comfortable (our queen size was two single beds put together). The pillows were not comfortable and we had no extra blanket for when the room got cold overnight. Lastly, the pool was closed one afternoon because of a private event yet we still had to pay the 6€ for the facilities that we couldn’t use. The drink prices were slightly too high - for guests of the hotel the prices should be more reasonable.

I forgot some clothes on the room, When I found out I was a bit far away already. Phoned reception to ask them to send the clothes via post offices but they said they could not. So I was forced to add 3 hours trip back and forth which was a big letdown on the day before finishing he vacation, it kind of messed the day's plans. One important thing is that they charged 10 euros / person extra for the use of pool and the hotel lido chairs. I did not use the pool, and I would not use the lido had I known this in advance. In fact I could even deny to pay this since they did not verify if I did or not user the lido. This should have been communicated beforehand ! I did not complain as I didn't care for the hassle.

The property had beautiful grounds with a lovely swimming pool. The rooms were spacious and clean overlooking the grounds. The staff were amazing and attentive. They served a nice breakfast and had a nice dining room for lunch and dinner.

It was a 20 minute walk to centre of town. Not the hotels fault, but there few taxis and no Uber here. The hotel should have a shuttle. As well, you have to pay separately for access to beach and pool. You also have to pay for beach towels.

The property is incredibly vast and beautiful with a very large pool and lovely gardens. This hotel is actually a hidden gem with easy access to lovely beaches. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the staff was extremely helpful, courteous and accommodating. The restaurant served superb local dishes. Overall, the Grand Hotel President provided great value for money.

The televisions in the room are tiny (less than 20 inches?), old, and have very poor sound quality.

The Hotel had good facilities, great swimming pool, good restaurant, the rooms were comfortable, clean and quite large. the bathrooms were well appointed with good size showers. Easy access to the beach. Good carparking.

No iron in the room. The hotel decor is a little dated.

The room was large and spacious. Everything was clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The facilities (beach, pool, bar, restaurant) were great. Breakfast was fantastic with everything you need to start your day. An overall great experience. I highly recommend this property!

It is a Beautiful hotel next to an amazing beach. The reception people were very helpful and nice. The Room very comfortable, and the breakfast very good. Ample parking and lovely surrounding.

We stayed for a night after arriving from a long-haul flight and appreciated the comfort and the dramatic location scenery. The hotel is situated outside Catania on beautiful rocks where there are deckchairs and nice lawns with a pool. We also appreciated that we had rooms adjacent to our kids and an outside patio which was private with beautiful outlook.

The hotel may be a little tired and musty smelling in the corridors.

The property was beautiful and very clean. We got towels for the beach/pool. The staff very attentive and pleasant.

Hotel has a pretty garden with pool and access to the beach via an underpass under the main road.

It would be nice to have coffee/tea making facility in the room.
