Lovely staff with exceptional customer service. Nothing was a problem and the young lady who checked us in gave us great directions to get to the nearest tram stop. Le Mans has a very well organised public transport system which is within a few hundred metres. We enjoyed the breakfast and were given a very personalised service with only one other couple present as it had been a quiet night ( Good Friday ? ) the selection offered had something to please most people and was very fresh and tasty. The decor was stylish and interesting and felt like it had an art deco influence.

The stairs were very difficult to navigate for some with a large suitcase but this understandable given the age of the building. We did however use the lift and loaded our luggage outside via the lobby rather than attempt the stairs to the garage 😀

I’d classify this property more as a ‘guesthouse’ than a full function hotel. it has more of the feel of a very nice, comfortable Bed&Breakfast. upon arrival, my first surprise was the parking situation. I drive a small car, the size of a Renault Clio. and I had a struggle getting into the car park. then a further struggle to squeeze my car into one of the spaces. if you have a large car, you simply won’t get it in there. HOWEVER once your car IS IN the car park, it seems very secure. the staff checking me in, and indeed throughout my stay, we’re friendly and efficient. my simple double room was spotlessly clean. the bathroom had a real BATH, with shower over, a heater and plenty of towels. no fridge in the room. but coffee making facilities, replenished daily. there is no restaurant, only a bright and airy breakfast room. the buffet breakfast was ample, though not as wide a choice as some hotels, and quite reasonably priced.

on my second morning, due to low occupancy, there was no actual breakfast buffet. instead, I was asked to pre-order my breakfast items the evening before. I realise that this cuts down on waste. however, my croissants were raw in the middle.

The room was attractively furnished in a modern style and had all the facilities needed for a city stay. The breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of food, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, and cheese. The parking is secure and we didn't need to touch the car as the city centre was only a ten minute walk away - or one could take the tram. The old city is well worth a visit. The service at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to friends and this was our second stay here.

A clean and comfortable space! The a/c was a blessing, the window opened to a serene courtyard for a fresh breeze at night, and everyone was pleasant.

The listing notes “toiletries,” but there was only bath gel. No mini fridge either😞 Having lived in several large cities, I have experienced rough areas, but was surprised at how beat up the neighborhood was. I would not go back a second time.

Great location and very convenient for the tram and the city centre. The room was small but we knew this when we booked and it was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed having a drink in the patio area. Breakfast was good with lots of choice.

The garage entrance was very narrow and we had a lot of problems getting in and out as we have a big car. We were warned about the height of the entrance and checked our car was ok but the problem was the width. I feel there should have been more warning about this.

A fairly small room but with everything necessary in it. Very friendly helpful receptionist. Well positioned for sight seeing. Street parking difficult so the underground parking, although charged 8 euros, was very welcome. Good breakfast.

Lovely place to stay, clean, modern, lovely decoration. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had breakfast there and OMG, until now we still talk about how good the pastry and bread were… really really good!

Wifi is NON existant, it just constantly drops, that was annoying. Rooms we initially had was located really away from the lift with loads of stairs and corridors to go through, not a big deal only if you have loads of luggages which was our case. we asked to change and it was done without any issue.

Great location, clean and tidy, shower was ace as were the staff. Breakfast was brill..

The car park although they mention the height they dont mention the steepness of the drive in, my car is quite low and so ground out going both in and out and has damaged/ripped off the under tray splash shields..

The breakfast was fine but basic, no hot options available. Location meant a 10/15minute walk to restaurants, for dinner, difficult if one of your party member has problems walking a distance.

Convenience of off street parking was great, access and exit was via a very narrow entrance could be a problem for above average vehicles.

handy off the motorway on route from Spain to Ireland. Small but clean room and the lady on reception was very friendly.

The walls in the rooms are paper thin and at 5am I had to shout to people to stay quiet as they were shouting a lot! we had to make another long drive the next day to a ferry. The room was tiny.
