Visiting the area for a friend's wedding at the riverside barn near by, we had a lovely stay at this Lodge over the weekend. After a 7 hour drive we were delighted to arrive in a pleasant room with an incredibly comfortable superking bed. We were greeted by Darrell, who was very polite and welcoming, giving us an introduction to the lodge. Rooms are very spacious with everything we needed, including but not limited to, ironing facilities, mini fridge, hair dryer, tea making facilities, smart tv, seating area inside and out. The ensuite was spacious, and the overhead shower was bliss. The lodge rooms are next to each other, but at no point did we hear other people in their rooms and felt like we were on a private retreat throughout. Although slightly out of town, there is ample parking in a gated private area, and using Poulton cabs as recommended, we managed to get to and from the venue at little expense. Thank you for a lovely stay and when visiting the area again, we will be sure to check availability at Willow Lodge.

I stayed at Willow Lodge prior to my wedding at Singleton Lodge with my bridesmaids. Our host Darrell was probably the most accommodating host I have ever come across on booking.com. Prior to the stay, I sent a number of requests (sorry Darrell for being so demanding haha) but he was extremely accommodating making sure everything went smoothly with our stay. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. We all commented on how much we enjoyed our stay. The bed was also super comfortable. I will definitely be back in the future to stay again. Thanks again Darrell for all you help with our stay. It was so appreciated!

We love the Willow Lodge - it is a small family owned facility who have taken great care to provide what would be expected of a 5* hotel. The hosts are very caring and nothing is too much trouble if you ask for anything. They provide an excellent help-yourself continental breakfast. You have to drive to stay at this facility in the country which is very quiet and peaceful. This is our third visit with them and we look forward to many more.

The property was amazing the entrance was gated with parking and a fab pathway to the 4 rooms we had 3 ! Stunning location ! Had a separate room for breakfast which was fully stocked , trays to take to room if weather was good which ours was you sat on the individual tables outside every room ! Lovely hosts were there for anything we needed ! At a wedding in riverside barn we certainly had the best accommodation on speaking to other guests at the wedding 10/10

The location was lovely - very quiet. With the beautiful hot weather, we were able to breakfast outside our rooms in the sunshine, which was very pleasant! The kitchen was very well equipped with a good array of continental breakfast options. They responded to my request for oat milk for breakfast and even offered it to me to take away afterwards. Darrell was very responsive to my questions ahead of arrival. We unfortunately had to book a very late arrival, which was then affected by a road closure earlier in our journey. We eventually arrived @ 2am!! Having previously discussed our arrival with Darrell, he had arranged straightforward access to our rooms. He also left out a trolley to help with luggage, which was appreciated. I loved the dim motion sensor lights in the bathroom! As someone with arthritis, I appreciated the easy to use taps and shower controls and especially the good height toilet! :-) Directions to the property were clear and were further illustrated by two photos, which was helpful. Due to our very late arrival, once we'd vacated one of the rooms for cleaning the next morning, Debra very kindly let us stay on sitting outside, without having to rush off after check out. We were grateful for the use of the room fridge to keep drinks cold, (see above) before departing. Debra and Darrell (and their lovely cleaner) were very friendly and efficient. We felt very welcome.

It was difficult to avoid sugar at breakfast. I chose a 'Rice Krispie' cereal, because it has less sugar, but unfortunately it was wrongly packaged (by the factory)and contained some sugary shapes inside! However, the staff were not responsible for that. It would have been nice to have some fresh fruit options as pictured on the website.

The room fully met our needs, is was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We met the owner who was very receptive to our questions and very informative. We loved the outdoor area were you could eat your meal or have a glass of wine in the evening.

There was a step in the room but this did not cause us any issues, but because we always assess a room on whether we could take our son , who is a wheelchair user this would have caused us a problem. It could be the other rooms were different and we would ask before we booked.

Quiet location. Clean, beautifully decorated and the biggest bed!!! Plenty of choices for the ‘help yourself continental breakfast’. The owners were very accommodating as we arrived late. So they made alternative arrangements for us to get in. Absolutely no complaints!!

The gravel. Only because we had suitcases as we were heading straight to the airport after our 2 nights stay.

The room was beautifully decorated with excellent facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The en suite was spacious and spotless with fluffy towels and free shampoo etc. The fridge contained free water and there was plenty of coffee and tea bags to make tea. The little kitchen had everything that was needed and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Our host greeted us and was on hand if we needed anything.

WiFi and telephone reception is bad and keeps dropping out, but to be fair that is something our host probably has no control over.

We were welcomed by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, finished to a high standard. Perfect location for the wedding we were attending and the taxi recommendation were very prompt. The only reason for giving a 9 instead of a 10 was because there was no window that we could open to get fresh air into the room, but they did provided fans. The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and the option to sit outside if the weather was nice. I'd definitely stay here again.

Hosts Darrell and Debra are amazing, welcoming, friendly, available if needed but unobtrusive allowing you to enjoy your stay. Nothing is too much trouble and they are lovely accommodating people, Amazing rooms, bed really comfortable, fantastic service, spotless and wonderful breakfast. Lots of choice. This was our 3rd stay and we will return whenever we stay in the Blackpool area. Wonderful restful 4 nights. Thank you P&A x
