We recently had the pleasure of staying at Residence Kalipe, and I must say, it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by Claudio and his wide and the hospitality extended by the host truly made our stay memorable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests was evident in every interaction. The apartment was Impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of skiing. What truly set this residence apart, however, was the kindness and helpfulness of the host. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed during our stay, offering valuable recommendations for local attractions and dining options. Have previously stated in a pleasant smaller apartment in this building, but this one was even better. Excellent location near the centre of the village in walking distance of restaurants, shops, skiing etc. Nice balconies and well equipped kitchen/bathroom. Host communicates effectively via WhatsApp. Hope to come again!

Just a couple of very tiny niggles. Parking around the back of the house is extremely tight (and challenging to exit), would suggest parking elsewhere unless your car is very small. Optional supplies in the fridge would be welcome, as would recommendations for grocery shopping (Carrefour Express nearby) and non-ski activities in poor weather (we came across the excellent Mirtillo Rosso spa in the neighbouring village of Riva Valdobbia)

Welcome sets of tea and coffee that we could take with us in our thermoses on the ski slopes. Comfortable beds and airplay in bedroom tv was magic sized could watch a movie in the evening all together. And the view from the balcony. Fully equipped kitchen so we could easily cook. Spacious bathroom.

Tight gate to parking behind the building but we managed it. In the evening it was super hot in the evening. But we managed to sleep with open window so that was all good. Just one small bottle of shampoo and shower gel.

- interesting contrast: very old stylish building and ancient halls within, but the apartment is brand new and modern - beautiful mountain views from many windows (even bathroom has a window) - quiet location aside from the main town road - very close to the ski-lift (less than 5min walk)

- beware about the boiler capacity, if several people take long shower the hot water may deplete - parking behind the building is ratter limited and muddy - had a few times power shutdown in our apartment so had to go outside to turn it back on

It is a very well equipped and maintained facility. The location is great as well as the care we received. Highly recommended.

We couldn't find linen for the third bed and had to improvise. Also, they are a bit short on hot water.

The owner of the property was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location was excellent with a fabulous views and conveniently located close to the store and restaurants. We really felt we had the winning ticket in the lottery. Absolutely loved it!

There was nothing not to like.

The place was amazing and the owner was very kind to let me in before the planned check-in hour as I arrived earlier. The studio was great was great, very spacious and clean. I loved the vegetable garden available for guests. I will be very happy to come back again in the future :)

Not a single thing

Residence Kalipe is a perfect choice if you want to be in the centre of Alagna. Tip-top contactless check in and out, and with very good support of the owners who are very responsive to the guests.

Easy check in, great location, attentive to all my needs and questions, great shower and bathroom facilities. Really appreciated the Nespresso coffee machine and pods. It's a modern tidy apartment in an elegant older building.

Everything. The location is excellent . A short walk to ski lifts, bars and restaurants. It was spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable. Lovely bathroom with good shower. Plenty of tea, coffee provided. The host was excellent. Very quick to reply to messages and gave v good recommendations.

Parking is very tight.
