The pool area was fantastic and relatively quiet during our stay The rooms themselves were basic but had everything needed including a small kitchenette with ample cooking appliances The location was fairly good with a small taxi ride to the town Vaso was a great host and helped us daily booking transport around the island

Not a huge issue but you’ll need transport to get up the hill to the apartments as it’s extremely steep. We used taxis which seemed to be a flat rate of 15euros It would have been nice to be able to use the air conditioning unit in the room instead of just the fan

A wonderful place, even better than the pictures. One definitely would need a car or motorbike while staying here since the property is on the top of a hill but the scenery and the looks are magnificent and I totally recommend it. It is sparkling clean and it is cleaned on each two days. We were with a little kid and it was very convenient. Once we come back to Skiathos, we will choose Golden Hill Hotel again.

Everything was perfect!

Located in a perfect position up on a hill where you can admire the stunning view of the gulf bathing in the swimming pool. Rooms are cosy and clean. The garden and the outside is very well kept with flowers and lemon trees. Vassiliki, the host, is very kind and ready to help. The house is just 5 minutes by car/scooter from Skiathos town, surrounded by pine trees forest.

The views were breathtaking. Vasso was a great host and a lovely person, she even picked us up from the ferry port and dropped us off at the airport. The location is high up in the hills which provides the breathtaking views but it also means you require some form of transportation. We hired a quad bike which was fantastic (despite me being a bit anxious initially) as it enabled us to visit many parts of the island and the different beautiful beaches. The accommodation was fairly standard, exceptionally clean and very adequate for our needs, and the pool was lovely for a late afternoon dip after a days travelling round the island.

A minor area for improvement were the plates, glasses and cutlery were plastic which detracted from the quality of the property. The room comes without breakfast but Vasso provides cake and coffee from a lovely veranda. I would have preferred to pay more to have a breakfast included but we bought fruit, greek yogurt and honey to supplement the cake and coffee.

The location was fantastic 10 minutes up in the hills with a view to die for !! Amazing. Beautiful infinity pool. Immaculately clean. Vaso came in everyday with clean towels and to tidy up. Fantastic lady so kind and friendly. Thank you !

Only one thing and that’s a personal point. The bed was very hard. Maybe a mattress topper would be good. Also a toaster would be nice

Everything! Excellent location and views, amazing pool nice and quiet with comfortable sunbeds. Vaso was very helpful and the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel was 100%. Would recommend hiring a car or a quad.

Vaso was an excellent host. She went out of her way to make sure I enjoyed my stay.

I'm a big guy so like large showers, the shower size is fine for average people though, otherwise the bathroom is great.

A wonderful hotel on the top of a hill, very welcoming and friendly hosts. At first we were scared by the fairly steep climb up the hill, but it was worth it! Incredible view, silence and complete relaxation! And, of course, an incredible pool on the edge!!! For a more comfortable stay, come by car :)

Vaso and her father in law are just great hosts. They were so helpful and always happy and positive. The studio with own terrace was perfect, so was the Infinitiv pool, with great view over part of the island and the sea. Wished we could stay much longer ☺️

Golden Hill Studios are exactly like you can see in the pictures. We enjoyed the beautiful view, the pool was nice and clean. The whole place is well maintained and the landlady was nice and helpful.
