We liked the fact that there was a breakfast with hot and cold options, an unexpected treat. We had a balcony with a view of the river, which made the room appear more spacious. Immaculate (sp?) and Belle were delightful and very welcoming at the front desk when we checked in and departed.

The lighting is always typically too little, especially as we like to read. It seems hotels think soft lighting is more desirable, and don't offer any options to improve the lighting, especially the reading lights next to the bed.

Awesome waterfront view, you can enjoy all day long the amenities. You don't have to take your vehicle to travel around. There is an accessible "Water Taxi" right there at their deck, super economical for $15 each person all day long (so you can go back as many times you want during their ride hours. Kids are free of charge up to 5 years old. Each ride last 1.30 hours and make 4 stops in different places around the river and you can either go to Downtown, or other places to enjoy restaurants with live music and other views. First stop at the BW Hotel is at 12:40pm and last dropped off at 7:40pm. (6 stops during the day at the BW Hotel). So, if you really want to enjoy to the fullest the sunset, make sure you are at the deck at 6:20pm so you don't miss their last ride of the day and you can return at 7:40pm to your hotel destination. 😀 Then, you can eat at "The 3 Frishermen Restaurant" located at the Best Western Hotel, which is exceptional. You can eat indoors or outdoors with music and live music during the weekends. Their price and food is excellent and that is why we loved staying there, because you don't have to worry about going anywhere else. Just stay and relax all day enjoying the gorgeous views and sunset while you're there. It is family oriented, pet friendly (even at the restaurant), and super romantic for a couple to enjoy and relax. Next time, we will definitely bring our children and extended family there to make more unforgettable memories. 😍

People smoking Marijuana at their balconies that you can smell it so strong if you don't like the smoking smell. Nasty as heck for us, and they need more security to do walking around so they can avoid that type of things, if they want to keep it as family oriented, especially if you have children. We got a huge room on the 5th floor and the cleaning could be done better. Specifically at the bathroom, I saw hair stuck on the faucet from previous guests. Other than that we were very pleased.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating when I forgot my room key...a few times ( ops) I also asked to change rooms for a different view and that was no problem at all. I had a fabulous view of the pier and park.

Nothing - I really thought it was great value for the price and location.

The service, the view (above the pool), the housekeeping staff that came and knocked on the door when I got the courtesy late check out, the front desk staff that checked me in and Belle (I believe the office manager.)

The staff was amazing from minute one. The room was clean and huge, with a patio first floor, or balcony above, ALL with phenomenal views of the river. The free breakfast included eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, English muffins, cereal, apples, bananas, coffee, tea and juices. It was the best stay of our trip. I wish it was for.longer. When I'm in Fort Myers, I know for certain where i will be staying. Thanks again to EVERY staff memeber I interacted with or even passed on the property. 100% smiled and spoke.

There is nothing I did not like about this place. It has been the highlight location of our trip to both coasts and Orlando.

Front Desk Second shift.....EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE I had an issue prior to arriving, A man stole my phone and bank card along with my ID from my convertible (had the top down). She went above any duty that she was required/expected to do by helping me work around other ways to get me checked in and RESTED in the smoothest way possible. The empathy and sincerity of the staff here is AMAZING..... I would have NEVER thought that any hotel employees were capable of the humanity I saw. Housekeeping...... a 5 star resort could not match the ethics of this crew. THANK YOU for your respect, your courtesy, and your kindness. I am a massage therapist and you all are on my DISCOUNT list..... I spoke to your supervisor.!!! IMPECCABLE SERVICE from an INCREDIBLE STAFF!!!!

I hated that I could stay another few days!!!!

Our room view was spectacular!! Having the Three Fisherman restaurant on location was so convenient (get the breakfast in the package!), great for a quick bite, drink next to the pool, or live music on a Sunday afternoon. And the staff was wonderful!

I'll preface by saying staffing is short, as it is pretty much everywhere in the country these days. But there was no blanket on the bed, only a sheet, and had to go to front desk to ask for one. Also, since no daily maid service, both my BF and I separately asked for fresh towels, but never brought to room, and had to go down to get ourselves. Minimal inconvenience for a fabulous stay though!

We loved the location, and the staff was great!

The ceiling in the bathroom was very low. Shower pressure was low. The baseboards in the bathroom needs to be dusted and cleaned. Cleaning crew needs to lose the couch cushions because we found a Pringles pull tab lid under the cushion of the sleeper sofa.

They easily switched our room when we got a terrible view of the restaurant patio. The location is great.

The room wasn't super clean. Glass wasn't wiped, hair still in the bathroom, and it was really loud most of the stay

Excellent views of the water and we spent a lot of time on the balcony having coffee in the morning and watching the sunset at night. It's the views that are the highlight of this hotel. Great hotel for your four-legged family members too.

The hotel is definitely on the older side with a need for painting outside and inside. The carpet was a bit icky so felt I had to wear my flip flops all of the time. Some debris in corridors and elevators too was a turn-off.
