Sonnien went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was a perfect size for me as I was travelling solo, everything was clean and tidy and I always appreciate the complimentary water. Location wise it worked well for me as a keen walker that most of the main city sights in Taipei were within a 40-ish minute walk of the hotel. The receptionist provided me with maps to help me out which I was thankful for. I want to specifically give a shoutout to one receptionist that went above and beyond to arrange a taxi to the airport for me when I had a very early morning flight to catch. It felt like she would've moved mountains to make sure I got there, I was very grateful for this, you truly showcased Taiwanese kindness.

The deluxe room was amazing - very new, incredibly spacious and well equipped. Large wardrobe with sufficient hanging room. Great views and the mini bar was all complimentary. The bathroom was also very spacious. Breakfast buffet was good but nothing exciting or extraordinary. More Taiwanese style breakfast options. The person at the front desk with the British account was very helpful. The free car park was also very convenient. Location wise - very close to YongKang District. In house coin laundry service was very convenient.

It’s at least a 10min walk from the nearest MRT station so not the most convenient if taking the MRT a lot. Staff at the restaurant during the breakfast could be a bit more attentive. Some staff at the front desk could be more helpful.

I had an amazing stay! The team organized a surprise barbecue session for in-house guests, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for the New Year’s countdown celebration. Bravo to the team for making it so memorable! Various delicious food and drinks were provided free of charge, adding to the delight. The hotel offers a special venue to enjoy the spectacular Taipei 101 fireworks, which was truly unforgettable. A big thank you to the reservation team, especially Nancy and Mina, for accommodating my room request so efficiently. The front office staff were incredibly friendly and patient, always happy to answer my questions and provide guidance. The location is unbeatable, with the MRT station just a 3-5 minute walk away. There are plenty of fantastic food options near the station too. I’ll definitely come back to stay here on my next visit! Highly recommended.

In a nice part of the city with a 10 minute walk access to subway stations to get to anywhere in the city. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially for our (larger) family group. The breakfast had nice Taiwanese and continental options, though tables can be hard to come by at peak (we found one after 1-2 minutes). Nearby are plenty of conveniences, such as a nice walkable park, 7-11 convenience store, large pharmacy with great selection of skin care and hair care, and nice restaurants.

Location, free parking, very comfortable bed, good size room, and very clean . If not the aircon issue, it would have been a very good hotel

We had an issue with the A/C. When we turned it on, it didn't cool the room. Only fan. We called the front desk. The receptionist admitted that there is a problem in some rooms and she needs to call her supervisor. They knew that there is a problem but assigned the room anyway. It was late at night, we had to wait for the manager to come and do whatever he did to fix it. We didn't like the attitude.

The location of this hotel is very good. near the ATM station and only one stop from the heart of the city. We have received an upgrading for the bedroom, therefore we cannot complain, it was big and full of light. The mattress was very hard, for me and as well as for my colleague. The breakfast was rich enough, of course mainly chinese food, but also enough western style food to choose from.

The only thing which I didn't like about this hotel is that the lobby is really small and the breakfast room is basically next to it, without divisor. It is not too bad, but it can be a bit confusing, especially when the tables are all occupied and at the same time there is someone checking out and may be some courier delivering a parcel.

Room always spacious. Nice bathtub with a small window to provide a view. Window turn to privacy window at night which was a nice touch. Hotel was able to receive the parcel of goodies that we bought in Taichung and mailed to them before our arrival, though eventually we reached before the parcel did.

The placement of the toilet roll holder was at an awkward position, had to pull a long section of it from where you are seated on the toilet bowl. Breakfast was the same dishes for the 2 consecutive days that we had breakfast. Expected variety of food.

The service was good, we asked for 1.5hrs extension before checking out and was granted. The staffs are all friendly. The place is clean and very convenient.

The pillows are way too flat and can''t have good neck support. The air conditioning of the room was not warm enough. No instruction on how to set the room temperature.

Location was very convenient. Only 5 minutes to the mrt station and all of the main lines are within 1-2 stops to change. 10 minutes with Uber to Taipei Main Station.

Only downside like the reviews I read about this hotel indeed the breakfast could have more choices. I am never particular about breakfast for first time ever I’ve been eating the same breakfast every morning without any different at all. Same salads, same porridge, same noodles, same breads… every day

i booked deluxe double room for our 10 days Taipei trip staying on floor 10. I really liked, 1.spacious, clean and comfortable room and bathroom size. 2.bidet. not all bidets the same. I appreciate more in this hotel after staying another 4 star and newer hotel in Kaohsiung that it cleaned 15 seconds only. 3.24 hours coffee machine access. for us from US the jet leg is unavoidable. awake at 3 or 4 am my morning starts early I really like I can go down make my morning coffee this early. by the way it’s a qualify coffee maker after I stayed in Kaohsiung’s hotel. I like more here. 4.I never had to wait for elevator I think it’s a better quality that runs faster. again you only notice it after comparing with Kaohsiung’s hotel. another I can’t be sure it seems hotel has its staff use elevator I never run into elevators with its workers, a pleasant experience. 5.front desk associates are always courteous and willing to assist. 6.hotel location is great. Taipei is a safe city but you feel safer with 2 police stations next to it, right and left sides. it’s also near 2 subway lines 5-10 minutes walking distance, convenient. it’s on one of the most beautiful Taipei city’s road. 7. used hotel arranged taxi shuttle pickup and drop off. the fees are reasonable.

1.bed is on the softer side. wish it was firmer. 2.I appreciate hotel provided self serve laundry machines. it’s convenient for our 10 days stay. the laundry location is in basement i wish it’s more tidy there.
