The view from the room was amazing. The shuttle bus was a bonus. Kettle and cups were provided. Bed linens were changed each day. We had a family corner twin bed room with sea views and was very spacious. View from restaurant was fantastic.

The bedrooms were very dated but clean. Hotel room & corridors don't look like they have been updated in a very long time. Pillows were rock hard which made it a very uncomfortable stay. The shuttle bus was definitely needed as the property is so remote. Breakfast was a disappointment. Mainly catered for the Japanese market. There were several coach loads there during our stay. The staff could not keep up with the demand to replace the food or clear the tables. Swimming pool as green and did not look like it had been cleaned in a very long time

Stunning hotel in a stunning location, this was my second visit as I wanted to bring my wife here to enjoy it. Worth staying for the incredible sea views alone, extremely convenient if you plan to visit Miyajima and use their ferry service from outside the hotel. Rooms are very big and the free bus service to and from the station is extremely helpful.

The hotel doesn’t have any double beds, they need to offer rooms with double beds. There’s no laundry room, instead there is a laundry service but you have to wait for at least one day which is too slow.

View from the room. Room price was very good value. Free shuttle bus from Hiroshima train station. The bar menu 22floor as well as the ground floor cafe (closes at 6pm) provided good cheaper food options for dinner.

The hotel is a long way out of town but is served well by public bus and free shuttle bus(only to the train). But the timetable given to us at the hotel did not match the public bus timetable which seems to have changed for buses travelling from town to the hotel on the 21 route where only every second bus stopped at the hotel. The others stopped at the port which is 25 minute walk away. Make sure the bus says Prince Hotel.

Great sea view from the room. Very nice lobby and restaurant area. Location was great for our trip to Miyajima. Very helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel is quite dated in places, especially the floor we stayed on, but everything was spotlessly clean. The hotel is quite a distance away from the centre of Hiroshima, but there is a courtesy shuttle bus. This does, however stop running quite early. The hotel would benefit from more shuttle buses later into the evening

Lovely hotel situated on a headland to the South of the City with fabulous sea views from our bedrooms and even better from the panoramic restaurants on the top floors - what a sunset! There was a free shuttle bus service to the Shinkansen Station plus a public bus service bus which takes less than 30 minutes to reach the city centre and peace park etc (taxi's also available). The ferry for Miyajima Island leaves from a pier literally outside the hotel and was an unmissable trip, and there were some lovely walks in the hotel grounds, along the coast path and through woodland right outside the entrance. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection. We didn't really use any of the other hotel facilities but our rooms were spotlessly clean, spacious, quiet with nice shower rooms and had all the facilities one could need. All the staff were excellent, helpful and friendly from the front desk to the restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return one day. Thankyou.

We thought the hotel was very good value for money, although meals and drinks at the restaurants were pricey so we tended to go into the City to eat out.

The location is close to the ocean and the hotel offers a free ferry (which we, disappointedly weren't able to use with our schedule) and a charter bus directly to the hotel from the station. The price for the hotel was a great value, I was impressed with the view, price, location, and facilities. A small bonus was the skin care sampler they provided - it was nice and refreshing after a long day of travel. The okinomiyaki restaurant connected to the hotel was nice, but I've had better okinomiyaki before. Still, it was very convenient and it sounds like they have many food options if you arrive earlier in the day or make reservations.

The hotel room was warm when we got in and the a/c controls did not appear to work. We did not mention it to the staff since it was late and there was a huge group of school children on a trip getting checked in when we got back down to the lobby.

The view, the view, the view. Plus, the hotel was very elegant. Extra bonus is the hydrofoil boat that docks outside the hotel that takes you to and from Itsukushima Island. The hotel was the site of the G7 conference in 2023, with lots of photos documenting the summit. The hotel is also used for weddings, and we got to watch the end of a lovely wedding, with the new bride and groom walking up a three-story circular stairway, while the wedding guests applauded the couple from the balconies overlooking the three-story central grand lobby. Just lovely.

The interior rooms are a little bit dated, but still nice and spacious with good beds.

The reception area is large and impressive. My room was a good size, especially as I was a single occupant, and had a sea view looking over the many islands in the area. The breakfast selection was varied and very good, catering to most tastes, and the views from the top floor restaurant are stunning. The high speed ferry pontoon is right outside the hotel. We pre-booked tickets to Miyajama in the hotel for the next day for the 20 minutes journey. We knew at the time of booking it was a little out of the city centre but we’re happy with the choice for the tranquility and sea views. There is a free shuttle bus to and from Hiroshima station and taxi fares were very reasonable. A walk from the ferry pontoon along the sea takes around 45-60 minutes to complete depending on walking speed and return route. I walked back the way I came to enjoy the sea and island views.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

The hotel is in the middle of the Hiroshima bay, the view from the bedroom is great. It's very easy to go to Miyajima with the ferry departing from the pier of the hotel but it's a bit far from Hiroshima city center (30 min by bus, if you go out too late you have to take a taxi or walk). The services are good, the rooms are clean. The "light breakfast" in the main hall was excellent with top service, the restaurant at the top however was a bit expensive for what it was. The food was still pretty good though and we got a great firework at the end with a beautiful view of the bay at night. There are beautiful beaches around the hotel that you can go to with a 10-minute walk.

It's pretty annoying that there are two separate beds in the basic room instead of one big bed

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed at during our vacation/visit in Japan. The location of the hotel is very ideal, in that it has great views from the hotel room, the hotel has a port for the highspeed boat to Miyajima, and the hotel also provides free bus shuttle service to/from the Hiroshima Station. The breakfast buffet at the top floor was the best breakfast buffet ever, ranging from Japanese style to Western style breakfasts. They even had the famous okonomiyaki as an entree! The rooms were very comfortable, and the laundry service was exceptional.

Very minor things we didn't like: 1. Because the hotel was in a sort of remote location (which is also a positive thing too), it would be difficult to walk to the nearest store/restaurant outside the hotel; 2) Using the pool was not free; 3) If we didn't want daily room cleaning, a sign keeps flashing in our room until we go to the front desk to let them know we didn't want it. 4) It was difficult to contact the front desk from our room, so I had to physically walk down to the front desk. There were no instructions on how to call front desk....
