We were warmly greeted by Tania, with her excellent English and great hospitality, making sure we knew all necessary details and helping us to our room. The room was clean, quiet, and plenty big, and we really liked the roomy size of the bathroom. The bed was firm and comfortable - just perfect. The AC worked fine. Really good shower, which we really appreciate. Breakfast was exceptional, with scrambled eggs, bacon, cereals, grains, raisins, yogurt, fresh fruit choices, many breads, croissants, and a huge selection of delicious cheeses, plus meats. Coffee machine to make whatever you'd want, but we only drink tea. They were so nice to find some herbal tea choices too! There were also jams and honey, and Im sure more that I haven't remembered. Very big and nice breakfast! There was a lovely view from our balcony too. Also, off-street parking in a lot across the street was great. We were very pleased with everything!

I suppose if you need an elevator, it would be a challenge, but for us the stairs were no problem. We have zero complaints - we were happy with our stay!

Our request for a room avoiding stairs was kindly taken into account (hotel has no elevator yet but is currently installing one). Very clean and well kept over all the place, room with all facilities although furniture is dated and double bed a bit narrow. Ample breakfast choices of good quality. Friendly staff. Better than expected in the small local town Vidigueira, which is good base for visiting wineries and tourist attractions in the area

External restaurant options in Vidigueira are limited

The most impeccable hotel we have ever visited in Portugal. Price and quality are different, quality is much higher than the price for the room. The room was very luxurious! Friendly staff. I didn’t expect to be in such a hotel in the small village of Vidigueira. I recommend to all!!!!

A surprisingly large and well appointed place for such a small town. Very friendly staff, English spoken. Close to the town centre and important for me the long distance bus stop! No restaurant other than the large breakfast room but plenty of choices nearby.

Pillows need replacing, old and bumpy, very noisy, rooms on ground floor paper thin walls and people walking past or sitting outside in the early hours.

The whole presentation of the hotel was unbelievable. Tania the general manager of more than 20 years, made our stay beyond memorable. Noting was too much trouble.

The staff are really welcoming and helpful. Very clean, well located with parking. A fridge in the room was an added bonus for keeping water cold. Breakfast was a good choice and quality.

Big room, quiet, very good bed, airco, good bathroom, all very good quality. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. A great place to stay. Parking space with gate at the other side of the street.

If i have to find a negative thing that would be that it was a bit warm in the breakfastspace, but maybe that was because the rest was very cool? This is a great place to stay.

The hotel fully met our expectations as a well run hotel and central to the area we were visiting. Staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was available in a nice roomy dining room. Extra bacon and eggs were cooked very quickly for us as the buffet had run out. This hotel is a strong recommend for value and location. There are also at least two very nice restaurants close to the hotel.

Bathroom could have been more modern but everything worked well and was more than adequate. Parking was on the road but easy and adjacent to the hotel.

Fantastic hotel for a quiet rural location. We had a room in the courtyard, which was lovely. Breakfast was excellent.
