Friendly staff greeting, at both Zayn Hotel at front and Zayn Express a couple of buildings further behind. Very comfortable room (mine looked like the cover photo). I found the bed & pillows very comfortable. TV accessed NetFlix, YouTube etc. Sweet! Small balcony was another bonus. The location is great for public transport - crossroads of 3 different train lines makes it easy to get to/from anywhere. There's also a mini night market with plenty of food stalls and a 7-11, plus a 24hr supermarket next to Hua Mak BTS station (that stocks the adult beverages not found at the 7-11 😘). Rooftop swimming pool with provided towels plus basic fitness room is in Zayn Hotel building. I tried the pool early evening - it was pretty cold but probably refreshing on a hot day.

The busyness of the area equates to noise, which only bothered me when outside. The only noise heard in the room was from other guests banging doors etc.

This was our the best stay so far in Bangkok! We came as a family and there was plenty of space for all of us, living room and bedroom are separated by the doors and there is also 2 ACs and nice balcony which surprisingly wasnt small. Employees are also very kind and helpful. I would always come back here and recommend this accomodation.

In such price range it was a gem. Clean basic hotel. Near train station where you can easily reach main city and airport as well. Very polite staff. Extended our stay for 2 hours for free.

Shower splashes out and make bathroom wet including commode. I think it can be fixed, it is small job.

Breakfast buffet was average, nothing really exceptional, but absolutely satisfying. Rooms were clean, two bottles of water were provided daily, Front Desk staff, especially Ouh, were extremely polite, friendly, professional and spoke great English. The cleaning staff were also very nice, hard-working and friendly. Very easy access to the MRT and the SRT, literally within a five minute walk to both. Swensen's and a 24 hr. McDonald's are available for those who crave Western Food, as is a supermarket if fresh food is desired. All kinds of Thai food options are available on the street and a great restaurant called the BuengKan Fishing Club is a five minute walk. This is a no-frills get what you paid for type of place, but it's still a great option for those who just need a clean, cool place to stay, who would rather spend their money seeing the sights than paying large amounts of money for a room they'll only need to sleep and shower in.

Location was a little out of the way, hotel is actually behind its bigger brother, the Zayn Hotel. Wi-fi and internet were the worst I've ever encountered. Internet was inoperable almost the entire 15 day stay. All television came via the internet, so had to go elsewhere for any sort of entertainment, etc. Seemed to be sewer gas that would seep into our room during the day while we were out, so bad that three times we had to open all the doors and windows to air the room out. Walls are on the thin side, so often our neighbor entering their room next door woke us up from the key in the door, and the opening/closing of said door. Beware the floors in the bathrooms, very, very slippery. Our son slipped on the floor, and lacking anything to grab onto, fell flat on his face, shattering one of his front teeth. Told the manager, and she assured us that this problem would be addressed.

Was struggling to get a proper shower due to the shower head. Difficult to get it in a right position because it was very loose.
