Nice room, clean and close to the old town

The one main road through the old town is right in front of the building. Parking was an issue since all the parking spaces in the town were taken. So we had to walk about 10 minutes and all few parking spaces in the area around the B&B were taken constantly during our stay. Also, we booked a room with a double bed and a sleeping couch, however the couch was not prepared even though I asked in advance. The staff just said it’s not possible and didn’t show any initiative to prepare the sleeping couch. That’s unfortunate and was disappointing for us.

We stayed for two nights in this centrally located B&B. The room I booked online was a big room with a balcony facing the street. It was beautiful, and clean, with high ceilings and tall windows. Unfortunately, I'm a light sleeper and there was too much traffic on the street below for me to sleep well. (This seems to be a relatively new thing? Traffic used to be open on the street parallel to the one the B&B is on but now that that is a pedestrian street, Xenia's street is busier.) The next morning, I asked our kind host Sonia if there were any quieter rooms available. She showed us a room facing the back which was quiet and also another one, an additional flight up, that had a view of the big church. It was a very cozy room with a beautiful bath and very quiet as it was away from the street and on its own floor. I loved that room and wished I'd asked for it when we first arrived.:) A room off the kitchen was open for guests' use if they wanted to make tea or coffee, which was nice. Breakfast was simple.

I loved every detail of our room. It was very comfy and cosy. We visited end of march and the weather was sort of cold. And because this part of Sicily is very authentic and 'untouched'. I didnt expect to find hot water in the shower, but i was very surprised to find the shower having warm water. The croissants served for breakfast was yummy. Sonia was very welcoming and helpful.

The tiurist map could be improved, slippers in the room would be a bonus.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished. Breakfast was good and coffee and tea was available at any time in the breakfast room.

No fridge in the room, although one was available in the corridor and it is useful to have somewhere to prepare snacks. A safe in the room would have been reassuring. Noise from the road was louder than I expected.

Very clean, with a nice little balcony. Nice breakfasts. The proprietess was kind enough to haul my wife's suitcase upstairs.

There is nowhere to park, so when you first arrive, you have to adopt an Italian approach and straddle the curb. Got a scuff on the underside of our bumper that the rental company wanted a cpuple hundred Euros for.

The property is ideally situated near the main Duomo on a quiet side street and is within easy walking distance of most tourist attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and provided us with a complimentary bottle of Prosecco when they learned we were celebrating our 47th wedding anniversary. And, our room was comfortable and spacious.

The one drawback is if you arrive by car, parking is a about a 15-20 minute walk away.

Location was perfect for seeing all of the historic places and a nice central point for day trips in the car. The breakfast was very good and the room was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and helped with our big luggage up the stairs.

The parking options were a bit confusing at first with no easy stopping in front to unload luggage, but our host got us straightened out.

A great location for walking to the old centre. Sonia was very helpful and put herself out to help us find parking which is very tricky in these old historic centres if you have a biggish car.

The BandB is on a busy street, though quieter late at night, it is quite a thoroughfare otherwise. Nice breakfast but the room was a bit gloomy.

The b&b has a nice vibe, it's situated in the old city area,not difficult to find. It was clean, spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and this was an extra point.

Parking can be a bit tricky due to the location, we spent ages to find out where is the best and closest to park.

Beautifully restored building and nicely decorated. The room was large and spacious. We had a wonderful surprise the owners met us at the bus stop and drove us to their place. They were gracious and provided us with all the comforts. We were sad that we missed having breakfast because we needed to catch an early bus.

Our room faced the street. It was noisy when cars drove down the narrow street.
