this place was absolutely beautiful and one of the most of not the most relaxing stays we have ever had. the staff were the most friendly and welcoming people we have ever met and the food was absolutely amazing. we would 1000% recommend this stay to anyone!

there isn’t anything we can really say, the season was ending so they were closing and we didn’t get to try everything but that is no one’s fault.

The property is stunning- the beach and pool really are spectacular. Rooms are so beautiful and spacious, bathroom feels luxurious, and having a balcony is so nice. We loved the property for a 2 night stay to recover from jet lag. Honeycomb and fresh Greek yogurt alongside fresh squeezed orange juice. 5-15 minute walk to spectacular restaurants off property. I saw some negative reviews about the kids- when we stayed in late May, there were plenty of young children, but this in no way impacted my stay. Yes there are kids in the pools and sidewalks, but you can still have a romantic stay if you don’t hate kids on principle.

Food is really expensive for Crete if you book without the all inclusive. Breakfast buffet is expansive, but generally pretty so-so beyond the yogurt and fruits. 38 euro for dinner buffet- absolutely worth going elsewhere to eat if your priority is good food. Not a lot do in walking distance off location- so I imagine good for shorter stays for couples and adults.

The resort was very nicely located on a beautiful beach. There were plenty of sunbeds on the beach and a fantastic beach shack offering food and drink to the beds. The buffet breakfast had plenty of choice and was good quality. The beds were comfortable and the rooms a decent size.

I was disappointed with the lack of sunbeds around the pool area and the whole area became muddy with the water from the pool. The sunbeds by the other pool are just reserved for clients in the 'pool side' bungalows which seems unfair when you have a 'pool view' bungalow and you can not sit by the pool your looking at from your room because you are a floor up.

We absolutely loved the design of the hotel, each and every corner and furniture. The atmosphere is perfect, so relaxing and welcoming. The staff were super nice and helpful.

The bungalow room was so nice but we thought, according to the pictures in the booking, it would be a ground floor room and we got a first floor. We were disappointed that it was not mentioned before arriving so we would know to ask for a ground floor. Other then that everything was just perfect

Location is close to urban area (30min walking), although it feels that the property is completely surrounded by nature. Design is minimal and charming, a lot of beautiful plants everywhere. the sand beach is rocke at some areas, but there are also completely sandy areas too. the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming, Staff ist so friendly and very supportive. I forgot my sunglasses on the beach one evening and couldn't find them in the lost and found box on the next day. But the staff member at the beach hut was so smart to search them in the bags of dirty towels from yesterday and we found them there. Thanks again! Or only issue was with the too soft bed. We prefer firm beds and this one was one of the softest we ever experienced.

The bed was much too soft. It is understandable that there cold not be an option to choose from, but it could be at least a little more firm/hard.

Superb design and wonderful garden/beach. Very good room and bed. Good spa however pricy. Great breakfast.

Quality, hospitality and pricing of the restaurants. Service personnel not up to the standard. No complimentary bread or after dinner treat (which is common in all Crete restaurants). Pools too shallow and clearly focused on small children. Lack of generosity in general.

We loved our stay and how comfortable the hotel was for us as parents of a 3.5 year old. Our daughter loved the pools and the gardens, as well as the beach. Also, the Little Explorers kids club and the kids nightly disco made it extra special for her. These details made it easy and relaxing for us. The food is quite good and we enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner, which had enough variety that we didn’t get bored. Our room was nice and private. We stayed in a garden bungalow and it was the right size for us and comfortably designed.

We loved our stay and don’t have any complaints.

Really brilliant for young families, but still feels a bit discerning. Lovely swimming pools and beach. My little ones made lots of friends and there was a plethora of things for them to do. Everything is designed with children in mind, which makes it much more relaxing for parents.

The rooms were quite small and the rooms were not very separate (tricky if you’ve got multiple young children who wake at night), it would be great if there were more food options for children. Generally the food was quite expensive.

The design and interior

The staff in kids club who wanted me to leave my child alone with them when she was insecure and needed me to stick around. Old school way of looking at children. To expect them to be alone with strangers and look with angry eyes at the parents who want to stay and support their child. Selection of wine was not very wide and prices very high.

I really liked the interior design of the hotel; everything is airy, thought-of and contemporary. The rooms are very spacious. Staff were incredibly well trained, efficient and polite (shoutout to the outstanding Joao, who went far beyond the call of duty, the super professional Eva and the diligent Marianna). Maintenance is very quick to solve any issue. The food is incredible in all the hotel restaurants: do not miss the Burrata pizza at Almyra as it is next-level. The proximity to Malia gives young adults a chance to go clubbing at night.

The guests are not at the level of the hotel: they reserve sun beds and play ball games at the pool even though there are signs everywhere asking them not to. They invade reserved areas for Pool Bungalows.It is very common to arrive at the beach and see 2/3rds of the sun beds occupied with nothing but towels and leave with nowhere to sit…
