Hotel Molino del Arco is a 15-minute drive north of Ronda. You'll need a car and GPS to get there. Leaving the main road, you'll take a narrow, sometimes unpaved road. The hotel is set in the countryside, with beautiful views over the valley and mountains. It is a converted almazara, an olive oil mill. The Spanish word almazara comes from the Arabic al-mas'sara, meaning to extract. Centuries-old olive trees and vines surround the hotel building. The family that owns the hotel still produces olive oil. The accommodation is modern, comfortable and tastefully decorated, built hacienda style around a beautiful inner courtyard. We had two connecting double rooms. There's a large swimming pool for an afternoon dip after visiting touristy Ronda. The hotel has a large shady garden. We made friends with a young black cat adopted by the hotel, called Oreo. All the staff were friendly and professional. The multilingual reception staff were warm and friendly, offering service in English, French and Spanish, of course. Breakfast is excellent and the hotel serves Spanish cuisine for dinner, which is rare in hotels these days, if you don't want to drive at night to Ronda. Molino del Arco comes highly recommended. Don't rush your stay at this lovely place, try to spend at least three nights to enjoy a quiet break from the hectic life. And they have reliable Wi-Fi too.

a charming boutique hotel in the countryside with a beautiful garden, fishpond, and generous swimmiingpool area. Very personalized service, the brother of the owner is very helpful and friendly. Food is all homemade, marmelade, honey , freshly pressed orangejuice. Dinner was excellent with fresh products. The place is ideal to relax and just feel at home far from home. The best place I ve been to so far. Charming.

Incredibly beautiful complex, in an extremely quiet location away from the hustle and bustle. The lounges and the garden invite you to linger. The honesty bar is very extensive and the drinks are reasonably priced. The breakfast with lots of fresh regional products as well as the dinner and the wines by the glass were excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We regretted that we had only booked 1 night. The approach to the hotel is well signposted, but you need your own car.

Fantastic location, beautiful house and gardens with a pool at the end of the garden, superb! Our room was relatively small, but we were there for just 1 night. They have larger rooms . Everything was beautifully decorated . The people were very nice and welcoming, really great!

Nothing, it is a perfect place to visit Ronda. Just make sure you take the right route from Ronda ; we ended up on farm roads …but made it there as well. I only wish we could have stayed longer: advice is to stay at least 2 nights!

The location, the buildings, the grounds the restaurant and the staff are amazing. After a rather disappointing visit to the city of Ronda (way too many tourists…..especially the big groups with guides who block the streets are a nightmare), the hotel made our trip to Ronda more than worthwhile!!

Hard to think of anything, but if i am really trying: some of the sunbeds at the pool have poor structures (the back section keeps popping out)

A quiet gorgeous historic property nestled in olive tree groves. The perfect break from the crowds of Ronda. We were able to take a wonderful peaceful walk among the olive trees. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds and gardens are well maintained and beautiful. Rooms are very comfortable and roomy. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were fabulous. Would definitely stay here next time

We love the country house style of accommodation. We enjoyed the breakfast, dinner, swimming pool and the garden. All the staff are friendly. The waiter was knowledgeable in the regional wine and nearby wineries. Hotel contact me on Whatsapp me with hotel information before my arrival.

Everything was so delightful, no dislikes. Only drawback is the small restaurant dining room can only sit 20-24 guests and can be loud and noisy during dinner when busy.

Beautiful location in the countryside, with easy access by car to Ronda. Tasteful decor. Extra kind and helpful staff who gave us practical info about Ronda, as well as our onward destinations. They really made us feel at home. The on-site restaurant was excellent, good local dishes and wine selection. We chose the half board option for our 2 night stay and loved it.
