Adored the young man at reception for being real, human, polite and professional with a welcoming SMILE! (The other staff were not happy) Loved the Breakfast - Attendant was busy making everything right and restocking breakfast items, fast and efficient! Tour Bus Crowd (Young, entitled Hockey Players), were not as gracious to the Host, but tried, even though food wastage by Hockey Players was noticed. Clean Room,- I love CLEAN floors without stains and grit under your feet. Once we had no carpet, and roomy space, and once we had a carpet. Noise levels calmed down by 1130pm. Although we always ask for quiet and upstairs, there's a moving, banging, rumaging being heard. I sleep with extra mini white noice, earplugs and my own Teddy Bear (Grown Ups need Stuffies, too). It's an easy in and out and the price was right in this ever expensive world. Thank you, will be back (and hopefully avoid double Tour Bus Nights). :)

Noise from people walking through the Halls at after 10h00pm. It is expected from Travellers, and we usually get a quiet room, but not always.

Bed was comfortable and liked the light behind the headboard. Courtyard area is lovely and worth paying a bit more. Liked being able to have breakfast there. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Nice to have Dove shower/shampoo products in room. Great lighting.

Putting the microwave on the counter beside sink leaves no room for cosmetic/shaving bags. One side of the room looks updated and the other side still has the old, oak furniture. No comfortable chair in room so you need to sit on the bed. Breakfast could have warm eggs, scrambled or boiled and more choice in fresh fruit. Bananas would be nice. Upgrade plastic chairs to more comfortable ones.

I was a little hesitant booking this place after reading some reviews, but I have nothing bad to say. Very friendly staff, room was large, clean, quiet and recently updated (bathroom was a little older, but very clean). We only stayed one night, but I wish we stayed longer. There's a small indoor pool, outdoor pool (which I haven't even seen, because we just didn't have time), complimentary breakfast (which we also missed), and probably some more amenities that we didn't use. Location is great if you wish to do the channel float. Several restaurants nearby.

It's a bit further away from the beach (maybe 5 minutes walk) and quite far from the main street. The parking lot is fenced with only one way in/out. It would be great if they had a small gate for pedestrians to shorten the walk towards the beach. Walking around through the main vehicle gate was a little tiring.

Great location, pools were great , having an indoor one when it was raining was a plus for my daughter. Loved the free breakfast included. Will definitely stay again!

We had a group of people partying till 3am above our room , could hear them all night , between the banging and hollering. I'm surprised it didn't get shut down earlier, I had called front desk about it, and it shut down after that. It's a very family oriented hotel. Having bad guests isn't their fault, but it was my only down fall as I had a 2 and 6 year old with me.

The lady who checked us in was amazing. Even though we were early, she went above and beyond to have our room ready for us. The breakfast was always ready in the morning and assorted choices for everyone.

I feel the evening staff could of been more friendly. We went to ask for ice as the ice machine wasn't working. The response was sorry no ice, and went back to looking at his phone. This is not the 1st time we haven't been able to get ice at this place. We then went to the restaurant next door and they were more than happy to put ice together for us.

The price was very reasonable less than $100/night and Breakfast included. Travelled in late November for my kids hockey, so we saw lots of hotels and this one exceeded my expectations especially for the price! Breakfast when traveling with kids is essential and the breakfast (variety of items, hot food like sausages, eggs, harsh browns, ect) also exceed my expectations. Very clean hotel, large room, comfy beds, quiet at night! Highly Recommend!

Location, spaciousness, parking, A/C, calm, the pools, breakfast included, albeit not fancy, but decent. Oh and nice touch with the little night light in the bathroom.

Almost too vintage building. The old fleeting smokey smell of the room that might remain from the seventies. One sink that looks like it should be for a kitchenette but is the only sink in the room, so it's actually the bathroom sink. Like in most hotels pillows that are way too fluffy and thick.

room and linens smelled fresh. The room was clean. staff were excellent and helpful. the adjacent "Wings" restaurant was excellent and reasonable with guest discounts. pool facilities were fine. the whole place was really quiet.

the sink in the room is separate from the washroom. breakfast is free, but predictably isn't that great. the waffles were good. Our room was quite a ways from a smoking area.

It was really good value for money. We stayed in February for 2 nights to ski apex mountain. I really liked the location close to the waterfront so that we can go for dinner and walk around by the lake. It was quiet and we had a great sleep here. They have a basic breakfast every morning from about 6:30 to about 9:00. We had the breakfast one morning and then the second morning went to the Tim Hortons that is one minute away. It's always good to have a simple breakfast option.

I have nothing to complain about.

First of all the staff are going their jobs well and were friendly and helpful. Great room (Days Work Room), clean comfy bed and linens, great EV charger for my car, complimentary breakfast.

I have stayed at the Days Inn while on vacation several times over several years. My room during this stay was excellent in all ways. During other stays my room was sometimes tired and worn. The rooms are inconsistent so to bring all the rooms up to a high standard is my recommendation.
