Impersonal staff, a welcome smile would have been nice. Room felt like it was the furthest from anywhere, along walk with lots of steps. No one offered to help with my suitcase. Our room had a huge electricity pole in the garden and hence the view . Room smelt slightly mouldy. Couldnt work out why they used eco products in the bathroom but only plastic cups in the bedroom. Dinner was fussy, looked good but quite bland (especially the lamb) . Desert (Tiramasu) was still slightly frozen. Tea/coffee facilities in room would be great Telephone in room disconnected so couldn't call reception and air conditioning confusing to operate.

The property is a little set back from the town, so you get incredible quietness. The staff were really friendly and kind to my 4 year old daughter. They even brought me a slice of cake on my birthday, which was very funny and kind. The pool is great, though too cold for us at this time of year, but in warmer months would be ideal!! The town is about a 10 minute drive away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stunning location, peaceful at night. Beautiful pool area and also inside the shared areas. The room were spacious, great air con and a small fridge, huge modern bathroom. The Chef is very talented, beautifully crafted menu and presentation perfect. We agreed his menu was the best we had tasted so far in Italy. All the staff are so helpful and work very hard all day and late into the night. We really loved staying here! Highly recommend it.

The only wish would be a kettle and coffee/tea available in the rooms. But most of our Italy stays didn’t provide this so we think it’s the normal standard for all hotels, masserias etc. At least it did have a small fridge for our wine and water.

It was a perfect escape yet easily accessible to neighbouring cities and towns. The property was unique blending old with new set within an olive tree orchard. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The pool and Seaview were stunning and plenty of space. Breakfast was always fresh, plentiful and staff very attentive. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent! A special thanks to Vito who seemed to always know what you needed, espresso, cold drinks and just some quiet time.

Amazing place! It's in the middle of nowhere with stunning views, yet only a 10min drive to Monopoli👌 The staff are very friendly, happy to help and always smiling!😊 The rooms are very clean, the bathroom is huge too😉 The swimming pool is quality and you have lovely panoramic views to enjoy! The breakfast is buffet style and ticked all the boxes before a long drive back to Naples 😄

Fabulous location with far stretching views out to monopoly. You need a car to get here but it’s a fab location to travel and explore the area. It is set in a beautiful olive grove, so tranquil yet life all around. We stayed in mid-october for 4 nights, the room was spotless and spacious, beautiful swimming pool, breakfast ok but great food for the evening, much better than we expected.

Loved basing ourselves in the country as we explored the Puglia area. It’s a only 1 /2 hr or 2 hr to everywhere!’ The junior suites look out over the coast and were lovely. The rooms are generous and the shower is fabulous. But it was the pool that made us stay!!! It was fabulous to come home and chill by a gorgeous pool area. Breakfast was included and covered all bases. Treat yourself.

Staff not so Friendly

Having been staying at much smaller B&B properties, our first impressions of Masseria Santa Teresa were gobsmacking with the enticing pool and upmarket resort feel. The view from the pool area through olive groves to Monopoli and the coast was beautiful. It was tempting to just relax and enjoy the pool, but this property is in a good location for visiting coastal towns etc (car needed). Buffet breakfast was very good and lovely tasteful rooms where it is served. Dinner was possible in the evenings, rather pricey. There are a few local restaurants around a fairly short drive away but get very booked up. The bedroom and bathroom were modern and spacious.

The only thing we found frustrating was trying to close and lock the French windows/doors to our room!

Beautiful place! The room was big and with a nice view. Very good pool. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served as a self-service buffet and food was very fresh. Their restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. We had dinner there and it was very good. We would go back anytime. Thank you!

Beautiful location with views across the olive groves to the sea. Spacious comfortable room. The swimming pool & surrounding area were very welcome after a hot day. Food very good & staff attentive & friendly.

Slightly awkward entrance from the road, easy to miss.
