The hotel is conveniently located close to the main Toyama train station which is only a few minutes walk to the hotel. The hotel is also surrounded by lots of restaurants. The free breakfasts provided in the morning is good although you may consider it basic. If you want to rent a car for travelling afar, the Toyota Rent a Car is just directly opposite the hotel. The design of interior of the hotel is subtle and comfortable. The only downside is the insufficient car park spaces which you need to book in advance. If you can’t get one there is a multi-storey Times car park just opposite the hotel and costs the same. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful.

Perfect for a stop over in Toyama. The room was well priced with a fairly decent breakfast included. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Perfect location, close to restaurants and the station.

Very good hotel for the money. Across the street one block from Toyama Station. Quiet room, very good beds, air filter in room, coin laundry was very busy but worked okay, good breakfast, great front desk staff, very clean.

Toyama is culturally deficient for a city with such a rich Maeda history. Japanese graphics and text at museums are poor, English is almost non-existent. Takaoka is better, but still deserves much deeper graphic display attention to it’s great history.

Staff are very good and helpful. Hotel is well situated for walking from the train station. Rooms are comfortable and bed also good. Near a busy intersection but well soundproofed. Breakfast buffet is very generous covering Asian and Western foods. Business facilities for those who need, also DIY pay laundry and drying machines if needed. A good value hotel. I would like to make a special thank you to the staff. I left a reasonably valuable pen in my room when we booked out. 3hrs later, I realised my loss and was able to go back to the hotel and enquire about my pen. Staff were so good and honest. My pen was returned. I am so appreciative. Thank you, thank you, thank you

I’ve stayed at several Comfort Hotels on my travels around Japan and understand them to be of value, located well, and have good facilities. Breakfast has been inclusive of the hotels in which I’ve stayed which has been handy and of a good standard. We had an early start to go on the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route so the breakfast was ready on time at 6.30, and was most satisfying. We appreciate being able to grab a complimentary coffee or drink at check or indeed at any time during allocated hours. I would recommend this chain and the Toyama Hotel to others.

We did have trouble with adjusting the room thermostat and found the room too hot, so we just switched it off for a comfortable night.

The room was far too hot. It was 28C and the aircon didn’t seem to be switched on. The staff told me something like it wasn’t the right season. We stayed twice in the same week and the first night it was hot outside so leaving the curtains open cooled the rooms little. The second night it wasn’t so cold outside so the only thing I could do was blast the water filter at full wind but it didn’t make much difference. By midnight it had dropped to a more manageable 24C, but it would still make me hesitate over choosing it again. I appreciate that there was nothing the staff could do but I was trying to get my six year daughter to sleep in a sweltering temperature.

The location is super convenient, right by the station. They offer complementary refreshments in the lobby which was great. The breakfast buffet was really varied and super good. The room was great, slightly older but with everything we needed; fridge, electric kettle, tea, coffee, amenities, AC, black-out curtains, humidifier/air cleaner and a really comfortable bed. We also had good views over the city. They offer luggage transfer service, but note that it's overnight, so those doing e.g. the Tateyama Alpine Route wanting to have the luggage transferred to the next location within the same day are recommended to use the Tateyama Alpine Route luggage transfer service available at the Dentetsu Toyama station. The staff was really friendly and attentive.

The breakfast area was so crowded we were barely able to find seats and had to sit separately. We had booked only one night so impossible to say if this is normal. By the time we had almost finished most of the crowd had gone, so it may have just been bad timing on our part but the breakfast restaurant could perhaps be a tad bigger.

location is just across Toyama station, 3 mins walk to Family Mart or 7-11 , lots of good food places in the building across the street. i left some of my clothes in room and just realized that it was left in Toyama... contact the hotel and they found it, they offer to send the clothes to me in Osaka... very helpful, big applause for the staff

i stayed 2 night in a row, first night is excellent, second day.. the aircon is broken in the morning, many people at breakfast complain it is so hot in room, no airflow (including me), so i let the receptionist staff know that lots of people complain it is so hot in room. At night, i got back to hotel.. still hot... complain again.. they said still broken, and they offer to open the window... Damn so cold... but it is still better than no air in room... so it is so cold because the window is opened, and quite a bit noisy .. i dunno why it is still so noisy around 12-2 am there... maybe because it is just across Toyama Station Could be better next time..... maybe just not my luck besides the Aircon Incident, this hotel value is awesome, really recommended

Great location. The JR and tram stations are only a 4-5 minute walk. Nice environment with lots of food options around the hotel. Breakfast starts at 06.30 with various menu choices and delicious tastes. The staff are always on hand to help with anything you need, including preparing breakfast in a box to take out when we have to leave the hotel before breakfast time, thank you. The cleanliness of the bedroom is maintained and the bed/pillow is comfortable, so I can sleep well. Thank you very much for your hospitality. I will come back to stay at this hotel for my next trip to Toyama.

It is a great location hotel, just the opposit from the Toyama station with the public parking lot nearby. The room size and cleaniness are fine, not a tiny room even for 1person room, the facilities and amenities are good as well. We have booked for many rooms since we travel in 3 groups of family, it is still OK to stay here overnight. The breakfast is OK, not much but not less.

A tiny space for having breakfast which is just next to the front desk, and no any discount for parking even you stay at this hotel.
