We had a wonderful stay at Naxian Soul. Angel, the manager, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Angel's recommendations were spot on and he was always willing to go the extra mile to help out. We were traveling with a four-year-old and the multi-floor set up worked very well so that we could keep chatting on the upstairs balcony even after he'd gone to bed downstairs. The patio and plunge pool were divine, especially the bean-bag loungers on the platform in the pool. The pool was cleaned daily (as were the living quarters). The breakfast in the cafe was delicious and the wait staff helped ensure that we got everything we needed. The availability of beach umbrellas was much appreciated and beach just in front of the property is lovely--very sandy, clear water, minimal waves so ideal for small children. The parking was also very convenient and importantly shaded. We didn't have to move our luggage very far to get to our room and in all honesty, Angel moved most of it for us. We had a wonderful stay and couldn't recommend it more highly. A home away from home.

# **Naxian Soul Review** We chose to visit Naxos for a relaxing getaway and knew that selecting the right place to stay was the most important part. Choosing a hotel wasn't easy, but we decided on Naxian Soul despite usually preferring places with numerous reviews. This decision turned out to be the best choice for our trip, and here's why: The location was perfect—close to a fabulous, very clean and private beach, offering relaxation away from the city noise yet still within a 10-minute drive or bus ride to the city and the port. We booked the suite with a pool, which was lovely and clean. The suite's garden was a pleasant and private retreat, perfect for relaxing and enjoying our stay. The place was very clean and well-equipped. We received a bottle of good wine as a welcome gift and had a variety of Nespresso coffee and tea that were free. The highlight was Angel the owner. As previous reviews mentioned, "Angel is truly an angel." He was incredibly welcoming and ensured we had everything we needed. He even helped us plan our stay in Naxos with amazing tips and recommendations (what's better than advice from a local?). To sum it up, our time at Naxian Soul exceeded our expectations, largely due to the warm, homey feeling of the place. We are truly grateful for this wonderful experience and to Angel.

Beautifully appointed room and outdoor terrace with private plunge pool. Comfy super-king size bed, Nespresso coffee machine, mini fridge, TV with Netflix. Located in the best beach town on the island, Agia Anna is a vibe! :) We didn’t want to leave. Angel and his team are truly exceptional. So friendly and lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. Offering help when one of us was poorly, organising taxis, transfers, restaurant recommendations and bookings. THANK YOU :) The beachfront cafe Byammo was lovely for our breakfasts and cocktails with waiter service on the beach (the strawberry daiquiris are delicious!). The beach itself is beautiful, sandy and the sea is gorgeous. Sheltered from the wind. Beautiful view of the sun setting behind the hills. A lovely restful stay, we hope to return some day :)

Overhead rain shower pressure is too weak and the handheld one floods the bedroom floor when on full-pressure. A high hook on the wall for the handheld would be a great addition. A bit more storage would have been useful but we managed OK. Double amount of hangers in the wardrobe would be ideal. This is a wish not a negative but an outdoor shower next to the pool would be dreamy :)

We spent 4 nights at Naxian Soul and we had an amazing holiday. The rooms were spacious and very modern, the breakfast delicious and one of the best beaches on the island was just steps away. Also only a 10 mins drive to Chora. Angel and his team are truly exceptional. So friendly and lovely and couldn’t do enough for us, they even let us use the room for a few more hours while we were waiting for our ferry THANK YOU :) The hotel was brand new with very modern facilities and the balcony was perfect for a morning coffee or a late night glass of wine. Also sunbeds were free and so was our transfer to and from the port. Overall it was an exceptional holiday!!!

Angel is a fallen angel - he could not do enough for us! We wanted to hire a car and within 20 minutes he’d sorted it and the car was parked outside. We stayed in one of the rooms with a plunge pool which was gorgeous, our only regret is we didn’t use it enough! The beach location is beautiful and there are lots of nice restaurants all within walking distance from the hotel. The bus stop is minutes away with buses in to Naxos town every 30 minutes and the hotel offer free transport to and from the port which we didn’t realise on arrival so be sure to use this. It’s a lovely family run business that I would highly recommend

Water wasn’t replenished daily

This hotel was amazing. The owner, Angel, met us when we arrived, got us checked in and showed us to our room, giving us a tour of the room and making sure we knew where everything was and how to make ourselves comfortable. We stayed in the lofted room - bed was on the second floor and bathroom and sitting area was on the first floor. Everything was very comfortable and we enjoyed the 2nd floor balcony as well as the amazing private pool. We really appreciated that breakfast was included at the restaurant in front of the hotel and that we had access to the beach beds and umbrellas at no extra cost. The area is perfect for relaxing and taking walks up and down the beach/road. It was easy to get into the main town of Chora as well and we were able to take the public bus both ways. There are lots of restaurants in the area so it was easy to find a table and have a great meal. Mary, who worked in the evenings, was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking with her when we would come back in the evenings. They also offer arranged pick up and drop off at the port at no extra cost, which we didn't realize on the way in, but utilized when we were leaving and it was perfect. We appreciated all the attention to detail and care that went into making our stay wonderful!! We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Naxos!

On the second floor balcony you have a view of the sea but since the building is behind the front row of buildings, it's not a full view of the beach and sea. It was still a beautiful view, just not exactly what we were anticipating.

We had a lovely private room on the first floor. The room was a good size and the back patio with our private pool was an absolute treat. The host couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. He provided so many great recommendations and was a pleasure to interact with. We truly felt at home at Naxian Soul. Our breakfasts at the cafe over looking the beach were delightful. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious every time. We highly recommend Naxian Soul for your next beach getaway.

Location was great: a very lovely beach is just in front of the hotel, and two of the most popular beaches are within walking distance. All staff were friendly and helpful (special thanks to Thekli for her great recommendations). Breakfast was very good, with enough options and delicious. Also, the cocktails at the cafe were good, we enjoyed the ones we tried.

In the evening, there was a smell coming from the toilet, but it wasn't a huge deal.

Well designed with a private pool. Clean and a very comfortable bed. Good facilities.

The location wasn’t great. Building site close by and poor views from the pool area although to be fair it is very close to the sea. Breakfast starting at 9am was a bit of a surprise. We would have expected 8 or latest 8.30am. Also the room description on Booking.com was not accurate which caused us to question if we had the right room.

High quality property. Room had an abundance of coffee pods perfect for that morning coffee. Very comfortable. Breakfast at Byammo offered healthy choices and was a la carte. Great staff who are friendly, knowledgeable, warm and accomodate needs. Great location - close to supermarket to purchase bus tickets to go into town.
