July 2024

I've lived in San Francisco for a total of 24 years. I'm also touring musician.. I've said everywhere from Mark Hopkins to Hiltons and all the way at the bottom end of the scale. I know hotels And I know San Francisco. So, as I'm gettiing my apartment situation straightened out, I am basically on a hotel tour in San Francisco. To give me an opportunity to hone my review writing skills as I will be entering a copywriting side career. The Warfield Hotel was cool . I had the opportunity to stay in two different rooms. The second room was spacious and very nice and very new and clean. Bathroom area too. It was like a large studio apartment in San Francisco. Which would cost you about $2,000 bucks a month. Which is almost exactly what a month that The Warfield would cost. (Do your own math). One aspect that stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff . Very sweet , professional. Welcoming and accommodating. I can't remember his name, but the younger dude, he's really nice. I actually had to go to the emergency room for a sudden horrible gastro illness. He was kind and understanding of my situation. His cool and helpful attitude contributed to a positive stay at The Warfield Hotel. While the Hotel is located on the edge of a slightly rough neighborhood, you're just one block away from Market Street. You are not in the depths of any of the other things that can go on in the neighborhood. In fact, it's kind of misleading when you look on Google Maps. The Warfield is actually in a pretty good location. Vry easy to get anywhere from there. BART, MUNI, public transportation a block away. You're literally maybe 1 mi to 2 mi from most of the major attraction neighborhoods you'd want to go to in San Francisco. If You're looking for a nice spacious room, nicely decorated nicely put together, in a pretty good location for a very fair rate? The Warfield hotel is well worth considering

Hot Water takes a while in the shared Bathrooms.

I like the spacious room, there's a place to make my food and keep it fresh. I also like how comfortable the bed is when I sit or lay down. I am a student at CCSF, I am able to get a lot of homework done because its very quaint here.

I run the fan most of the time, but I don't like how warm it gets sometimes and it's cooler outside. I have the windows open. I also experienced some weird supernatural stuff in the middle of the night. There was a muddy foot print smaller than my foot and it looked like a different shoe, there was no mud on the bottom of my shoe. Anyway, I was going to take a picture but I decided not to. I thought I would wait until it happens again, because I also hear movement in the room sometimes. It does not bother me, I just thought it was very weird and I wasn't sure how to bring it up in conversation.

The bed, the room was clean and the property was kept clean. We were next to a loud person with a dog who slammed the door at all hours of the night and the people above us were loud 24/7. But other than that and the jackhammering in the street at 7am Monday morning, it was pretty low key.

He neighborhood is rough and there is so much human waste outside. I wish that could be addressed but I think this is the city’s issues, not the hotel.

the staff was very sweet and let us borrow scissors and a lighter (we needed to alter some clothes) and also gave us extra towels and toilet paper ! the room was also really nice for the price, the bathroom was a little questionable but what hotel bathroom isnt.

its smack dab in the center of the tenderloins with hella homeless people and construction everywhere. there was jackhammering and people screaming all day and night. thats not their fault! but it did suck.

The staff are very friendly and prompt to answer questions and accommodate mean the room was very clean as well as the hotel and it offers breakfast in the morning. I don’t think there’s any other hotel in SF that does at least in the downtown area. The location is prime. You’re about two blocks away from the Westfield mall two blocks away from Bart couple blocks away from Civic Center. It really is a good location.

no, this is very minuscule and for me, it doesn’t bother me because I’m familiar with the city, but the location could be hard for some people noise level and rowdiness of locals in the area might be hard for some people to walk around is the only reason why I keep a point away from 10.

This hotel is a GEM !!! the staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, cozy and quiet. i felt safe when i was traveling alone for work for a few days. my husband was with me but for a couple nights he had to leave for work and i was alone. they are tight on security as you can not enter the building without a key or being buzzed in. I absolutely love this place and i will stay here again.

the area is kind of seedy but not too bad and measures are taken by staff to ensure guests safety.

A well organized and convenient place to stay. It's close to so many locations downtown, civic center and public transit. The staff is on top of keeping to place running well. The building is very clean and feels safe.

There was quite a bit of street noise but to me that is not too big of a deal. I felt safe inside the hotel so I knew that anything going on in the outside world could not hurt me, Bringing along a white noise machine or ear plugs would have been helpful.

Everything was great. I recommend anyone who wants to visit San Francisco should come to the Warfield Hotel. You are going to have a good time because everything was wonderful. The manager and all his crew family members. They welcome me like my family. Thank you so much.

I wouldn't say I like some rooms that did not have a screen to prevent insects from coming in.

The bed was very comfortable, and I like that it is very quite here inside the Hotel. There's a place to put my fresh food and frozen food.

There are no toilet liners for the toilet room. Outside the front door there are sometimes weird smelly people it can be challenging to enter the building or to get to the entrance. However, I find other ways to enter the Hotel building.

I'm a full-time student and have several luggage and school supplies; however, the hotel welcomed me and the staff suppletive Victor to move my stuff. I appreciate the help, and they made their guest feel at home. Thank you so much Sincerely Aya
