Convenient

Restaurant bar was not clean. Service was just ok. Cocktails were flavorless. Too many staff and other people behind the bar. Confusing and distracting. Staff did not say goodbye or ask how our stay was. They were looking right at us as we left but never stopped their conversation to say goodbye

North Adams is attracting a lively visual arts culture, and it shows even in the hotel. HD was a fantastic choice for touring North Adams by foot. It is in walking distance to a museum of contemporary art (Mass MoCA). The common areas of the hotel were impressive. An expansive recently remodeled lobby with seating options, nonstop coffee and tea, and fruit. The indoor pool and large hot tub were nice. They have saunas too, although they were locked when we were there in September. I enjoyed the view from our upper floor room. Parking was convenient.

There was no breakfast. But this was partially remedied by a great bakery across the street (Bailey's) with great muffins and cinnamon rolls. The laundry room was being remodeled. Sound transferred easily from hallway noise and rooms above.

The hotel is located close to the start of Main street in North Adams, near the city hall, it easy to spot the hotel from distance. There a few restaurant nearby on Main street and a few fast food restaurant around the area in walking distance, there a pharmacy (CVS & Walgreens) and supermarket (Big Y) located near Mohawk trail. MASS MoCA art museum is located in walking distance using State street. The lobby look very modern and clean, there a room with a few couches and tv in the lobby to sit, and there also a small table with kettle and coffee makers with table to sit on, there a parking lot right outside of the hotel. I got to sleep on both side of the building, both sides offer a nice view, clean rooms, big tv inside the rooms, a small refrigerator and a coffee maker.

Great location, exceedingly clean amenities, on-site gallery a plus.

Front desk staff was aloof throughout. Informed me they’d charge my card upon arrival, charged extra so I had to go back downstairs to inquire. Was told it was a deposit & it was only then I was told there were refreshments for purchase behind the desk? Just tell someone if you’re going to charge a different amount than what’s in writing. No amenities offered/ mentioned as available except spa water- not even an ice machine. Room was darker than I’d like and both toilet paper holders were broken. Was right across from the elevator, so that incessant chatter and associated chiming was an added bonus. When I checked out, the staff member did not even ask me if I’d enjoyed my stay; isn’t that hospitality 101?

Clean and contemporary building and room. Great location and ample parking. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The pool needed work and the sauna's were locked. There was no continental breakfast and there could have been coffee available all day.

Two different flavored waters offered in the front lobby. Very Friendly and helpful staff. Microwave and mini fridge. Plenty of available TV channels and outlets to charge devices. Location was awesome and extremely comfy lounge with many plush chairs and lots of books.

No breakfast, no take home toiletries. Mirror in a WIERD spot on the wall, so you have to see yourself in the bed and no digital clock to check the time.

You can't beat the location of this hotel. Situated in the heart of North Adams, it gives visitors to the area opportunities to explore what the town has to offer. I especially enjoyed the gallery space! Reception staff went out of their way to plan out a walking route for me to take in an overview of the town.

Great location. Appreciate the guest laundry that is needed when travelling for 3+ weeks. Clean. Restaurant was good & right downstairs. Nice view from our room on Fl 6, Will be nice after all the renovations are completed.

No breakfast available & unfortunately the restaurant isn't open on Monday & Tuesday. A lot of the area restaurants were also closed also. 2 of the 3 washing machines were out of order. With the renovations going on much of the lobby was closed off as was some of the parking lot.

Nice downtown location. Attached restaurant was very good and convenient. would recommend.

No pool towels available. A quick breakfast coffee muffins juice in lobby would be nice.

Clean, comfortable, well located within walking distance of MoCA, historic downtown streets, and places to eat. Friendly welcoming staff. Free parking onsite in open surface lot.

I wish all the money that’s been spent on reviving North Adams had been more successful-but I appreciate this hotel’s commitment to that effort.
