Coffee. Cereal. Bread/honey. Yogurt. Fresh fruit. Granola/parfait. Orange juice. Scrambled eggs. Breakfast sandwich. We booked both types of rooms. The queen room had a nice size bed spoiled by only one person in our group. The twin room had 2 separate beds both twin size which we loved each person being able to have their own bed.

Coming from America being used to air conditioning and realizing in Europe air conditioning isn't common it was hard to keep our bodies from getting sick since we are used to regulating cool air while sleeping. We were there for 2 weeks and unaware there is no laundry facility on site. But at least there is a washer/dryer laundry mat about a 15-20 min drive. The laundry mat is called Kurt's Waschetheke. It's located in Amberg. The address is Fleurystrasse 22. Phone number 09621 470297. It came in super handy by the first week of our stay.

The staff at Hotel Zur Post was friendly and accommodating. We booked in Kümmersbruck during our bicycle trip because we could not find lodging in Amberg. It was fairly easy to bicycle between the two towns. Our room was one of the tiny houses. Though it was rather small, it was well-designed, so there was space to put our belongings and still be able to walk in the room. The tiny houses are clean, modern and largely made of wood. There is a pleasant, private porch outside of each one, and room to safely park bicycles in the garage. The hotel’s bar/restaurant has an agreeable atmosphere and is a pleasant place for a drink our meal.

Not related to the hotel, we would have liked better signs on the bicycle route heading into the historic district of Amberg, and also going back from Amberg to Kümmersbruck

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the pillows which were made from sustainable materials. There was a flyer about the pillows, too bad the description wasn't in English also. The staff was very friendly, they spoke English which was a plus. They also have a cute dog. We had dinner at the restaurant, it was tasty, but the variety of food was not very high.

There is no mini-fridge in the room In the evening there was a smell of horses, probably from the farms next by. At that point, we had already finished dinner, but I suppose it's not very pleasant to eat with that smell.

Perfect location for a night stop on a long road trip. It was very convenient that is just 3km away from the highway, enough far to be in a calm place, and at the same type straightforward to find. We took a standard room and it was spacious, with comfy beds and pillows. The even provided water and coffee and teas on the room. Very friendly staff, too.

Nothing to remark about the property, but if you are on a road trip and stopping for the night, plan your dinner. There is a Pizzeria super close to the hotel, but closes at 10pm. The hotel restaurant closes the kitchen even earlier.

Breakfast was yummy as well as dinner. The tiny house was perfect for my needs. My dog loved the path along the river. The staff were very nice and tried their best to speak English. I'm new to the country and I don't speak much German.

We booked two rooms, and both were immaculate. Breakfast was delicious with local ingredients. The beds were comfortable. There was good soundproofing. There is a nice path by the river behind the property.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

Well located and easily found only couple of kilometres from the motorway. We received friendly welcome at the reception. Our room was clean and breakfast is delicious and sustainable.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and the free daily water was a welcome gift. Next time we visit our friends in Germany we’ll have to try the Tiny Houses too.

Just an amazing stay. Very central, our room was perfect and Bettina and the check-in person were wonderful. The restaurant was excellent......the food was fresh and very appealing. The service was excellent. If you want something that is very traditional, with exceptional service, this is the place to go. They take pride in what they do. We will definitely come back.

We booked a tiny house, modern equipped with combination of wood, really confortable. Good heating. Free parking place. We also had dinner at the restaurant which was great. Friendly staff.
