Gaerwood is an exceptional property and Helena is a wonderful host. The property is welcoming and situated in a fabulous location, easy to find, close to the Western Highway and very quiet. We had a double room, beautifully furnished along with refrigerator, television, reverse cycle airconditioning, wifi and an ensuite bathroom with separate wash area. The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. The local hotel is an easy walk or a very quick drive with a great menu for an evening meal. Speaking of food, Helena's breakfast was delicious and plentiful, served in the adjoining dining room adorned with paintings and interesting antiques with a personal history tied to them. Highly recommend this property.

We very much enjoyed our short stay at Gaerwood, a lovely quiet B and B in Keith surrounded by attractive gardens and very cute cows! Helena was an attentive and helpful host and we enjoyed having a chat with both her and Rowland over breakfast. Helena recommended the pub down the road for dinner, a short walk away and very nice food.

No negatives - all was perfect for a comfortable night's stay.

This is a very comfortable room to live, and the host Helena is very friendly and professional. The facilities are excellent, and the bed is extremely good. We drive from Melbourne to Adelaide, and the location is perfect if you want to drive longer (500km) in the first day, and shorter (233km) in the second day. ps. the breakfast is ridiculously delicious, made by Helena.

The accommodation was close to everything in a quiet area. Breakfast is what suits us and our hosts could not do enough for us. The home itself was beautiful and had plenty of interesting collection of paintings and nick-nacks collected over the years. We loved the Highland cattle in the back yard.

The room as part of a very well maintained and beautiful house, the host Helena is such a lovely lady that welcomed us, and helped us to make a dinner reservation at the only hotel/pub that was open during the holiday period. The breakfast was nice, and the coffee Rowland made was great!!

Helena was an amazingly gracious host for the member of our group staying at her lovely b&b. Beautiful property and very personal and lovely breakfast for all of us provided by Helena & Rowland. Above & beyond service. Would recommend as a lovely place to stay in Keith

Fantastic accommodation in a region lacking quality accommodation. Amazing hosts Helena and Rowland made us feel extremely welcome and interested in our travels. Bed one of the best, great night's sleep. Breakfast quality and filling with interesting conversation with Helena and Rowland afterwards. One of the very best of 100,s we have stayed at around the world. Hope to go back on our return trip to Melbourne. And I would like to add Dinner at the Hotel was surprisingly good.

It's a great location, 5 min walk from town square and pub. It was spotlessly clean and tidy. All amenities were available. Rowland and Helena are great hosts and available all the time to help and a good chat. The house and land are beautiful and very well maintained.

Helena & Roland are the soul of hospitality. We were met with a glass of bubbly and settled into a long conversation. All very welcoming. The room is compact but has plenty of room. Breakfast was basic but filling and again we had a good chat with our hosts. Coffee was good.

Our host was extremely helpful even went out of her way to make a dinner booking for us at the local hotel and accommodated my dietary requirements.

Great for an overnight stay, but a bit small if staying longer.
