Room was a great size, bathroom only had a shower but was modern & very clean. Outlook from the the room was excellent, overlooking the courtyard & the spotlessly clean kitchen.. The thick closable curtains provided a blackout nigh time sleep. Tea & coffee facilities were adequate with a new like boiling kettle The breakfast was superb, great choice of cold & hot alternatives. Fresh coffee machine [ground bean to cup] plus a diy orange juicer. Good value breakfast

The toilet was separate across the other side of the room. This was extremely small with no handwashing facility. If sitting on the toilet your knees would touch the area around the toilet. This was probably the only disappointing aspect of the stay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location. The hotel’s at the edge of a little square surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, also close to the ‘entrance’ for the 3km walk along the ramparts which encircles Montreuil; stunning on a sunny day. Free parking, you need to pop into reception to get a zapper for the gate, so we parked at the front of the hotel first. Very friendly staff. Our room was amazing and exceeded our expectations for a traditional French hotel. It had been sympathetically refurbished, still retaining charm. Loved the electric shutters. Very spacious, with excellent shower room. Spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel photos don’t do it justice. Very good WiFi. Dinner in the restaurant was amazing. It is possible to sit out on the terrace but we sat inside overlooking it. We enjoyed breakfast, but some of the food needed replenishing. Meat and cheese looked as though it had been out for too long. There was no extra cutlery or napkins; so removing boiled eggs was difficult. We would have asked but there was only 1 member of staff on duty and she disappeared for quite a while. I think our experience was probably a blip, it was a pity, but it wouldn’t stop us returning and we will. Lovely place.

We had a lovely stay and experience at the Logis Hôtel & Restaurant and would definitely consider staying there again. What was particularly special was the staff, from the reception and to the bar and restaurant; everybody was very friendly and helpful. We'd had a very long drive and when we arrived in Montreuil sur Mer it was raining so we decided to spend the evening in the very cozy bar and restaurant; this is in the part of the hotel that I believe is 15C so it was very atmospheric. When we decided to eat there wasn't a table in this area available so the staff were very accommodating and arranged for us to eat at the small bar tables we were sat around. The food was excellent, really quite high class. There were three in our party: husband, wife and adult daughter so we had a room in an adjacent part of the hotel that had a separate bedroom attached. All was very comfortable, although the road outside was cobbled so traffic passing by created a rumble. Montreul sur Mer is a lovely small town and certainly worth visiting if you're in the area. It has ramparts surrounding it which take about 45 minutes to walk around; the town was also the HQ of the British forces during the 1st World War.

Can't criticise any aspect pf the hotel or its staff. We had broken down on the way to the hotel and this delayed our visit by a day. This wasn't a problem and they took our change of plans in their stride. Staff were both friendly and helpful and our room was excellent. The bar has changed layout since our last visit but still retains a warm and friendly atmosphere. We arrived late so didn't use the restaurant this time but breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from and plenty of it! We also had 4 (small) dogs with us and they were just as happy to stay there as we were.

A lift would be nice. We're getting on a bit and the stairs are steep but I doubt they would want to alter such a great building.

Room was quite basic and very warm. Unfortunately because of delays crossing the channel and terrible weather from calais we arrived late and weren't able to enjoy the facilities. Although dinner was gorgeous and the staff are top class. Breakfast was great too. Montreuil is becoming a regular destination for us because of its charm, history, markets and accessibility so highly recommend the town and paying a little extra for a better room. This was just a stopover before heading deeper southwest this time.

The hotel itself was perfect. Gorgeous large room, lovely bar and courtyard. We ate in the restaurant and it was superb. Staff were lovely. Very dog friendly.

Our room was in the front and very noisy as its on the main street which is cobbled which increases car noise. When the windows were closed it was fine but was a shame we could not relax with the window open. I think just get a room not on the main road and it would be fine.

This a delightful hotel to stay in just over an hour's drive from Calais ferry port. We had requested a room on the ground floor which we were allocated with no problems The bilingual staff were all helpful and friendly and clearly worked very well together as a highly motivated team. i was stupid enough to leave my mobile phone in the room when we departed, but Ann and her team very efficiently made sure that it was despatched back to our home address without any hitches. We took breakfast every morning and were very satisfied with the wide range of options on offer (as well as the availability of a kettle and teapots!). The large bar area was very comfortable and welcoming in its own right , unlike those in many French hotels which feel like the 'poor relation' of the restaurant. I was particularly impressed by the interesting range of locally produced bottled beers which are well worth seeking out. We dined in the restaurant on our final evening and this turned out to be an excellent experience which surpassed our expectations; arguably one of our best culinary experiences in France.

The secure parking area is a little way away from the hotel itself and the security key was difficult to operate at first.

Location, hotel, staff and welcome were all very good. Have stayed before and would stay again.

Parking is secure but a little hit & miss if lots of people are using the parking facility as it has limited spaces and tend to be taken up quickly, Bed was a little too firm for my partner, though fine for me. A light duvet in addition to deploy under the sheet would help make the bed softer for those that need it.

Breakfast was very good lots of choice, Parking was fantastic for 10 Euro per night we got a lock up to our selves for our 2 motorcycles that was a 1st, so take note bikers. Staff generally very helpful.

Evening meal not so good, limited choice and simply not that good. 2nd night we ate out. Something I truly disliked in the room we had was that the loo was on the opposite side of the room to bathroom, the loo had no hand basin so one had to trek through the nice sized room to wash your hands not very clever.
