I always stay in a disabilty room as I have difficulty getting in a tub/shower combo. I'm so grateful they have a room with just a walk-in shower even though they are a small facility. I found the bed pretty hard for me and woke up with a back ache but the hot shower worked out the kinks and I was good to go. The room is always spotless, even if the decor is lodge/tropical, lol. The towels are nice and absorbant and the bedding smells fresh.

Maybe get the decor all over to the lodge design as it is a "lodge" and put an extra blanket in the room.

The room was very clean and spacious. The couch and bed were both comfortable and we had everything we needed. The little fireplace added to the coziness of the room. We enjoyed how close it was to the Kootenai Wildlife Refuge and took the auto tour ride drive a couple of times where we saw many deer, water fowl, and bald eagles.

The Internet was not great, possibly because we were in the room that was furthest from the office. There was a lack of accessible outlets and the TV was small for the size of the room, although we didn't spend much time watching TV anyway.

Nice room, pet friendly, sitting on the porch, jacuzzi tub, huge comfy bed, dinner in our room (because of dog) from hotel owner and chef was superb. Manager at our arrival was very nice and professional. Reasonably priced.

Some dog owners don't care and let their dogs soil area rugs. I think that went unnoticed before we arrived, but I put them away and pointed it out. I saw a for sale sign out front, I hope if it does change hands, I can find the chef again.

Adorable lodge and very well kept! Husband loved that there was seating and ashtrays for smokers at each door so they could enjoy their time comfortably. Clean and uncluttered rooms.

The only complaint was the bed was as hard as cement! I sleep good on firm mattress but this one was like a rock and we both are still sore two days later.

Front porch was decorated for Halloween and was a great welcoming sight. We had dinner at the restaurant on site which was excellent. A first class meal and plenty of it. We also had a “grab” breakfast which was a lovely surprise. Staff were friendly and helpful. A great place to stay. I only wish we had more time there.

Good location as a stopover from Seattle to Glacier National Park. Kim was a great person to have running the show. She saw that we received the extra linens needed for pull out sofa and extra towels. Also provided a bag of ice. We had a misunderstanding with booking.com as to number of beds. We worked with what was available. It was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed here on the first night of our American road trip and received the warmest welcome. The lodge was so nice and comfy, and we slept brilliantly. John was so helpful beforehand helping us sort our trip and letting us have a couple of bits delivered there for when we arrived. We were sorry to leave! Thank you so much for the welcome.

That we were only there for one night!!

The staff was warm and inviting, as if they were old neighbors that were so happy you came back for a visit. The place was close enough to town that it was easy to get there each night, but far enough away that it didn’t feel like you were in the middle of chaos.

We wish the restaurant would be open year round.

This is a little gem of a lodge with well appointed good sized room and comfortable beds. We stayed in the king cabin with jacuzzi and it was beyond our expectation. The breakfast spread was also better than what I expected when I read it was “grab and go” type. We arrived late and were sent clear instructions on how to access our room and had a contactless checkin. The lodge is a little out of town, in the middle of scenic Idaho countryside and close to hiking activities like Snow Creek and Myrtle Falls.

While the jacuzzi was clearly the highlight (note: not every room has one), the shower could use a better shower-head with multiple settings and a handheld option.

Very clean and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food in the Cafe is world class and I don't know how they stay in business at this price point. I have never enjoyed a better chicken fried steak (Schnitzel) anywhere ever. Also, they have the finest guard dog, Rita.

there is nothing bad I can say about this place. I have stayed more than once because it was so enjoyable.
