Staff was friendly and kindly. The room was clean every day.

They couldn't speak English, so I had communication issues sometimes. I requested the receipt, they gave me E-mail address. I sent receipt request by E-mail, however no any feedback.

I really enjoy the pool and definitely one of my favorite things to do was going to the snack bar.

We need to leave our transportation away cause the place does not have enough space to park it aparentely.

That is family friendly, the staff is very friendly

We were quoted thru booking.com a price of 952. Canadian but we were charged $1269. Can. I have inquired about this and was told it was the difference in exchange rate but I don’t believe this as the exchange rate does not differ by 30%. I have used booking.com for many years and feel they should have paid attention to my complaint and done something about it. I will reconsider before book8 g thru them in the future.

Great staff. Very nice and polite. Some language barriers but was ok.Hotel was clean most of the time. Could use some cleaning under the beds. Had a cockroach in our room. But we understood this happens sometimes in hotels.

The food was subpar and very repetitive. Got to the point where I was only eating one or two things that were put out. Ate out of the hotel many times. The snack bar was terrable. The ala cart was also sub par..The bar service was very slow especially at the pool bar. It was quite frustrating waiting for a bunch of kids to get drinks in front of me. We bought some shrimp on the beach and we were told we could not eat them near the pool. There were many nationals bringing coolers and bags and eating and drinking by the pool. This was upsetting . The tv did not have enough English channels. Did not like that we arrived at 630 am and could not get out wrist band until noon. We understood why we could not get into our room but now after traveling all night we had to go out for breakfast ..

Mostly all the staff spoke Spanish being English-speaking it made it difficult. The front desk had one person that spoke English.

The food was very average.

All meals were mediocre to good. Staff was generally very good to excellent, with the exception of the "entertainment director," who appeared to be anti-North Americans.

David Bustos, the "entertainment director" was clearly biased against non-Spanish speaking guests. We were there for New Year, but David Bustos, who used to provide English translations, now refuses to do so. As such, we were effectively excluded from the festivities because we did not understand what was being presented. We also were excluded from the raffle because the winning numbers were presented only in spanish. Because we felt that we were intentionally excluded for apparently racist reasons, we left the New Year's celebration at about 9:30 pm. What we could not determine, but suspected, this exclusion was due to a policy set by top management. The majority of the staff was very accommodating and curteous. However, it was clear that our presence was not appreciated by David Bustos. We paid a great deal of money to be there for more than two weeks, but feel that we were cheated. We will not be returning and will be telling people to pursue other places to stay for their vacations in Ixtapa.
