The room had character and all that I needed. I was able to order a nice vegetarian meal which was a treat. I think that their focus was leaning toward locals for the bar and restaurant. I felt like I was the only person there from the Camino.

People were nice, as always, but I did sense that pilgrims, or more likely the extra duties that come with them, were a bit of a nuisance.

The hotel is in a renovated farmhouse and the rooms are clean and quaintly decorated. The bathroom was a good size and clean. We had a very nice dinner on the patio and the waiter was very friendly and explained all the dishes well in English. Good stop for brief stay near Burgos.

The woman serving breakfast wasn’t patient with us since we spoke broken Spanish.

A little gem a few kilometres outside of Burgos. An old building rebuilt and upkept with love and care. Super experience at a small price. Highly recommended. Just one example: The windows are soundproof, there are shutters to close out the light completely if desired, equipped with fly screens! and if that's not enough, the fly screen can be opened so the window is completely unobstructed. Just simply thought through and done well just like so many other things there. Very high quality rest for a budget. And you'll meet people from all over walking to Santiago de Compostela on the famous path. If you don't need to be "in town" go there, you won't regret it.

We felt like we stepped into the daily life of a thriving village and had such an amazing experience with the locals. The staff was fabulous and the bedding was the best we've seen on the Camino de Santiago! The shower was luxury. We have our 2 year old with us and they took very good care of us.

That I couldn't duplicate our stay in the next locations! There is nothing not to like.

Very suitable if you are in transit from or to the south. Parking is no problem (understatement!) There is a pleasant inn atmosphere. A small bar and a few tasty dishes on the menu. The building is rustic and so is the interior. Thought it was worth staying another night on our way back.

Maybe it's different in the summer. We were there at the end of November in transit. Breakfast was only served from 9 am, which is a bit late if you want to make some progress by the car.

It was super busy when we arrived and empty when we left, but that’s not the property’s fault! Fantastic stay.

Room and bathroom were immaculately clean. Bed was comfortable. Best shower on Camino. Food was outstanding! Many locals ate there, made for vibrant scene.

Wish breakfast was served before 8:30. Short distance from town center, but well worth it.

In general, everything. The attendants were very very helpfull and nice, and with a naturality that made us feel almost as already known people. That was great. Very quiet room.

Nothing. Not sure if it will be noisy if other rooms are all occupied. Isolation between rooms didn´t seem to be great, as could hear bathroom noise (actually very common almost everywhere) and cleaning room on the upper floor in the morning.). But anyway, we can rest very well.

We came across this hotel (don’t let the word “hostal” put you off) as we needed to stay in the local area before getting the boat from Bilbao to go home. Its absolutely super-clean, the owner could not be more helpful - our Spanish isn’t the best and we appreciated her English. The beds were super comfortable and we loved the restaurant and bar in the hotel - lovely food at very reasonable prices…it was great to be able to relax and not have to drive around looking for somewhere to eat, the bar staff we also lovely. You will not find anywhere better in this area and all at a bargain price. Thank you so much!

La Fábrica is a very special oasis on the Camino. The quality of the building is surpassed only by the outstanding warmth of the host. The atmosphere is so vibrant and welcoming. And the food is the best I have had on the journey of the Camino.
