Breakfast was great ,hot options also.Coffee was not brilliant and not great choices in tea.I am a big tea drinker but no breakfast tea,they had green tea ,mint tea ,herbal tea,so I had to go to pastry shops to get a cuppa after my breakfast at the hotel. Otherwise, no complaints. Maybe tea or coffee making facilities in the bedroom.

Could not fault this hotel. Loved the courtyard facilities, restaurant was beautiful, food was great here.Do not normally eat in hotel we stay at but this was excellent and great value for money.

It was the second time we have stayed at Vostra Llar and it was just as good as before. Clean ,comfortable and stylish throughout, with really lovely staff and a cool laid back atmosphere. The garden area is a cooling retreat from the sun, and the bar and restaurant has a long history of being popular with locals because its always been excellent. The buffet breakfast is the best in Palamós, everything fresh and of good quality. Relaxing, stylish and good value.

It would be nice to have a small coffee machine in the room, and a small refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

We booked a family room (one double and two single beds). The room was very clean, the bathroom was great (looked as if it had been recently re-done) and the shower pressure was very good. The room had a little balcony with a pretty view. The inside courtyard is very pretty and lovely to sit there and have breakfast. The staff was very kind and helpful.

The two single beds only had one pillow and wished they had the second (more comfortable one!) that was on the double bed. This is a very minor point but we thought that the pictures hung on the wall in the staircase were a bit out of place and didn't fit well with the character of the property.

Simple elegance with beautiful restaurant and courtyard, perfect for lunch and dinner under the shade of lush greenery. The breakfast buffet has everything you could wish for, so fresh and well prepared and presented. The staff are all very good at what they do even when they are busy, They do get busy too, with a queue of people outside, hoping for a table , the food is THAT good. Very good value for money aswell.

That we couldn't stay longer !

Restaurant - I enjoyed breakfast, plenty of food to choose from, coffee was great. Room- I loved my room, it was above my expectations. The bed was sooo comfortable (heaven), & the pillows - better than at home :-) Location of the hotel is also excellent, close to the beach, the bus stop is just across from the hotel, 2 "main" streets with plenty of additional restaurants, supermarkets, market etc. If you wish to do some clothes shopping, I recommend Platja D'Aro - approx. 15 minute bus ride. All staff was absolutely friendly & helpful. I also used some beauty treatment - pedicure. This is not done directly in the hotel, you must walk a short distance but it is worth it. Girls are very friendly / kind. If you don't speak Spanish, use google translator ;-)

The only thing I was missing in the room in hot weather, was the refrigerator, to keep drinks or fruit cool / fresh But, not a big deal - I managed.

my family has been visiting the vostra llar for 30 years, I’ve grown up with it and can gladly say it hasn’t changed. The rooms are nice, staff appear to be mostly family, have been there for years and really care about the place. food is excellent - please don’t change anything.

parking is it’s only downside, there isn’t any and even dropping off bags is a problem as often people park in the area on the street.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Made our stay very special. Room very clean and extremely comfortable bed. The restaurant was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Full of locals which speaks for itself. The breakfasts was also very good, with a great selection of hot and cold and again, local produce. A very special place.

The location, the room, breakfast and the helpful staff. The ambiance of the garden was great as well.

I would have preferred coffee machine and/or heater in the rooms but not a big miss out. Not the hotel's fault but municipality trash cars are making a lot of noise at the very late night

Excellent breakfasts included. A wide variety of foods to please all tastes. The dining areas are beautiful to sit in and enjoy food and beverages. The restaurant and little bar is also very popular in the evenings which makes a great atmosphere.

Room was good, Restaurant was great value (and very popular with locals). Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Check in from 2.00 which was good. Rooms clean and well maintained.

Note that there is no Parking (although that didn't effect us).
