The food, both dinner and breakfast, exceeded our expectations. The view from our room was gorgeous. The nights that we were there, no weddings took place. I can see that it would be an amazing setting for a wedding and reception, but I wouldn't want to book a room while a celebration was taking place. The receptionist spoke great English and was very helpful. Small grocery store within walking distance. Quick drive to the beach.

It would be nice to have small coffee pot in the room for in the morning before you go down to breakfast.

The hotel is extremely beautiful and the staff were very helpful. My family speaks very little Italian and they went out of their way to help us fully understand. As well as finding us a driver to take us all the way to Taormina, for a very reasonable price, after our stay. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant were excellent. The view is incredible, especially from our balconies.

The quad room was very small, very little walking space between the beds and nowhere to open a suitcase.

Wonderful view over the bay and the islands. Very ornate dining room and very nice breakfast. Nice pool and garden area. Thankful for the elevator.

Evening meal was great

All in all the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were in luck to have a room with a view of the coastline which was very beautiful.

1. It's not advertised on Booking.com as a wedding hotel but it clearly was. The hotel was even advertised like that on a billboard we saw on our way there. As such there was almost always a private event going on in the evenings oftentimes including the patio and the area around the swimmingpool. The music during such events was sometimes loud enough to be heard in our room which was not soundproofed. 2. The breakfast, which was included in the price, consisted mostly of sweet cakes and other sweet baked goods. The coffee came from a Nespresso coffee machine. To be honest we had better coffee at a petrol station on Sicily. 3. During our stay none of the staff were able to speak english. 4. We knew the hotel was not located in the main tourist areas like Taormina and Cefalu and that we would have to drive a lot to get to the spots we wanted to see. We expected that and planned to spend some days with long excursions and some with relaxing at the hotel. The atmosphere there didn't really feel welcoming to us though. The pool was being cleaned constantly whenever we had a look at it and the spa area was only accessible with a prior reservation. The door to the Spa was open one day and my boyfriend had short look inside. We decided against a reservation after he saw the state of the showers.

well , first I have to ask for the correctly room with sea view . nobody was present, no service in the breakfast room . The reception didn’t ask or everything was great or something else . Didn’t sei “thank you “ at the moment we pay , not really polite. The hotel is just a wedding hotel , with old flowers from the last marriage and the buffet in the Garden stay the hole season . The Garden was nice , no chair for enjoying the sunny day . Didn’t have any service at the terrace . I mean really a bad experience. Never again .
