We stayed last year and it was good but this year it exceeded our as it has new owners. They are very attentive nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is all local produce. A beautiful setting in a great location in the middle of a village with lots of parking. What made it even more special is that we hadn’t realised my husband had left his phone behind and they let us know and were kind enough to post it back to us as we live in a different country. If I could I would give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved everything about it

Set in a lovely village. Had to drive down some lovely lanes but was glad to get off motorway for a bit and it didn’t make our onward journey any longer. Clean room which was cosy but very functional. Had all mod cons even electric window blinds and individual air con unit. There was a fair going on over the road When we arrived 🤦‍♀️ But you could barely hear it. Lots of parking across from hotel

We like to start our onward journey early but breakfast didn’t start until 08.00. We like to be on our way early our choice but it wouldn’t stop us staying again. We will definitely be back again next year. Breakfast basic but it is a ⭐️⭐️ Not a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ As the price reflects.

The room though quite small was modern and very comfortable with everything you need. I liked the blackout blind and the air conditioning. The Hotel du Commerce is in an excellent position right in the centre of town and next to the free parking in the square. The staff don't speak any English (why should they, this is not a complaint) but were very friendly and seemed to understand my school girl French OK.

While the rooms have been modernised very well the corridors are quite tired. Despite having email correspondence with them prior to arrival regarding gluten free options at breakfast which they said they would have, they told me they didn't have anything at all which was a bit disappointing.

Hotel in centre of town with large public free carpark outside. Room was very clean and comfortable having renovated recently. Wifi was fast.

The stairs were a little narrow but I only had one case, A little awkward for those with mobility issues

Central location, with a large open square in front, plenty of parking, everything within strolling distance. Air conditioned room, very nicely decorated, small but convenient. An excellent stopover for us.

Location in the pretty town centre was great. Car parking was free in the Square next to the hotel and we could see our car from the hotel window.

That the restaurant was shut for our overnight stop. I could not get the wifi to work.
