This hotel has excellent accommodations for someone who uses a wheelchair (non-ambulatory). My husband is a paraplegic. To find an accessible room (roll in shower, open space under the sink to roll up to, wide doorways and flat thresholds, etc) in Baja is unusual. They recently installed heater/ AC modern units in every room, so you can adjust for your comfort. The staff is exceptional and friendly. The location is near all the special events near the boardwalk/ Malecon- several great restaurants nearby, or dine at the Italian Restaurant on premises. Security cameras and nightly patrol in off street parking lots.

Very noisy during the night because Hotel is on a Main Street next to San Felipe Malecón so there is lots of traffic noise, also there is a restaurant with live music during the weekend under the hotel. If your plan is to stay in the hotel to relax make sure to request a room in the other side of the restaurant or the building across the hotel.

Very authentic Mexican family-run property. I loved the friendly and helpful staff, the hot water, the good A/C, and the clean shower. The location was perfect for walking to all of the main street restaurants, the beach, and bars. It wasn't on the main street which made it a little quieter. The breakfast was simple with coffee, juice, cereal, and toast.

If you want a really quiet place then you'll have to get farther back out of the town. It stayed pretty noisy well up into the night with barking dogs and loud music from passing partiers in vehicles.

Great location 1 block from beach, near restaurants and shopping, easy drive access, security guard in parking lot. We thought the hotel was better maintained than in prior visits. Cleaner, upgraded towels, wonderful shower. Also welcoming to our 2 dogs with a minimal pet fee.

The downside of being in the center of city activity - it’s noisy. There was a festival going on at the Malecon and the music lasted until 2 am. I suggest earplugs if you stay here.

Close walking access to the beach and promenade. Air conditioner worked well and is needed during the hot months. Good water supply and bathroom. Plenty of restaurants nearby and taxi rank. Security for parking. Main amenities for good value. Expect no frills

My room had the closet space inside the bathroom (I saw some where the closet was in the main bedroom).

Older hotel in the perfect location. Cleaned every day, restaurant on premises is good, security every night, parking. Breakfast needs work. No mini frig. Plenty of hot water, and outside noise level was fine. Rooms on a side street so pretty quiet.

Breakfast was cereal, bread and cookies. Ok if you are 8 years old but plenty of eateries on the Malecon. A mini frig in room would have been great but you get free ice from security.

I loved the location! I was not expecting it to be in the middle of everything since it was super affordable. Perfect spot for a couple and calm enough for a family, as well. I loved that they had security to watch the vehicles and I felt extremely safe!

There is nothing that I didn’t like, If I am being honest It could probably use a fridge and microwave but thats is literally it. We only spent one night so we didn’t need that ourselves that night.

The staff was very attentive and accommodating. Very spacious room;, plenty of room to store our belongings out of the way. The bathroom was a nice size and I liked Having closet space there. There was a guard in the parking lot from 7am to 7pm. very secure and safe. There was even some coffee and tea, cookies, cereal and toast. plenty of filtered water available in the lobby area. Really good Italian Restaurant on site.

The air conditioner was noisy at times as it cycled on and off. The Smart TVs was not working so no Netflix

Pet-friendly hotel very close to malecón, secure parking on site, A/C was very cold, hot water in the shower, friendly staff. A complimentary self-serve breakfast was offered of cereal, toast, juice, and coffeemaker in the room.

The restaurant was closed when we visited for the off season, but there are plenty of other food options within walking distance.

We travel through every year to our home in San Jose Del cabo. Room are clean, security is there all night and they are welcoming to people and our dogs

The noise as we are very close to the downtown. Beach is very dirty , mostly garbage from locals
