The breakfast was ok. Was doing breakfast with family so didn't really need. It was quiet. People at the desk were very pleasant. Place looked clean and neat. It is located near our family so we didn't have to spend to much time driving to them.

Housekeeping was ok. Room wasn't picked up everyday. Beds were made each day. Waste baskets not emptied each day. Bathtub in room 106 was interesting. Stepped down into plus it felt like there were boards holding it up on the sides but there was nothing holding up the middle of tub. Toilets to close to the ground! Old people like us had an adventure each time we sat. Knees don't work so well! Trying to get up was fun.

I had come across some 2022 -2023 reviews that said property was suffering from lack of maintenance and upkeep. It was clear that a lot of work had been done recently. There was working being done when we stayed there. Our room and every where we were in the building was great. The work did not interrupt our stay. The breakfast was great and spotless clean

There is some more work that needs to be done . Parking lot area and some roof work was on going.

The staff, especially Jennifer- we became fast friends. We were travelling with our basset hound, Wyatt. Jennifer welcomed us with open arms, and even sat on the ground with Wyatt! The room was large and exceptionally clean. There is a spacious dining area with numerous breakfast options. There is even an outdoor seating area. We appreciated the elevator given Wyatt is a low slung hound. After 14 days of travelling, this was the best hotel yet. It was very quiet in the room despite a hotel that was fully booked, including revelers going to a Notre Dame game the following day.

There is nothing to not like at the Angola area Holiday Inn Express. This is an excellent option when travelling through eastern Indiana.

I loved the property it was very nice, the staff was very friendly. Breakfast was amazing.

We are traveling with our 2 dogs, I picked a pet friendly hotel. When we got there they only had an upstairs ru, which was okay been there done that before with them. But the lady said she put us in room 219 which was by the stairs so it would be easier to go out. No the room by the stairs is 217 & 219 is in the middle right across from the elevators so every time someone got off the dogs would bark 🤦🏼‍♀️. And little did I know that several people were staying there with dogs, because of a dog showOther than that it was a pleasant little trip, we just wanted to go to Pokagon for the dogs to get out and explore.

The facility appeared to be older from the outside, but it has been updated and maintained very nicely inside. The room was updated, very clean, quiet and very nicely sized (we had a king suite). The staff was always nice. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options. The location was very close to Pokagon State Park and local food options. The room was very clean, the towels were very thick and large and the bed was comfortable. Our room had wood outside the window so it was quiet.

I liked that it had a suite option with a bedroom and a separate living room with pullout couch. breakfast was decent.

I had to ask for towels, toilet paper and trash bags everyday. even when I put the dirty ones out the door. the bedroom door had a big crack in it.

The room was a nice size, clean, and it was nice to have a TV guide and good selection of channels.

The location was a little confusing to get to. Using GPS, it took us to the shopping mall next door. We felt the price was high for the location, the lack of amenities, the condition of the hotel (a remodel on the outside is definitely needed!). The desk clerk was a little snippy, learned quickly not to ask for anything.

Excellent location for I-80 travel. Quiet spot with lots of green space - unusual for most motels. Fireflies at night and birds in the morning were wonderful. Large rooms, and a beautiful dining area. Best gym elliptical on our trip thus far. Friendly, helpful staff.

The lady who checked us in was nice. She also refilled my coffee in the morning. The hotel is remodeling and there is construction material on the grounds. Our room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t receive a code for Wi-Fi.

The door to the bathroom in our room did not open properly; grated on the floor as it was being opened.
