I love this hotel! Great location just on the edge of the pedestrian zone in Leer, close to the train station and quick walk to old town and the Leda River port. The staff is all very professional, friendly and helpful. Great covered and secure location for bike storage (with charging outlets for you people who are into that). I needed to clean my long distance touring bike and the staff gave me a bucket of warm soapy water and a microfiber towel! The FULL breakfast is excellent and starts at 0630! There is also a very good gym and sauna.

Heavy duvet in June is probably too much heat. A blanket option would be nice.

I'm over 100 nights/year at hotels. And if I can say something about this hotel, especially the staff: if was far better than what I have experienced so far! For me the breakfast experience is a clear indicator for hotel quality. And specifically here the staff was simply extraordinary, quick, helpful, not only polite but more than friendly. The eggs were exactly as requested, etc. My and my US collegues were really stunned by this great service!

I had to stay overnight in Leer at short notice and booked this hotel to be close to the train station. The location was perfect, about 10 s walk from the station. Safe to walk, even at night. The room was huge and everything was comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price and the choice was good, with the usual options like sausages, eggs, beans, salami, cheese, yoghurt and cereal. Upon checking out I got a free bottle of water (plus there was free water in the room), which was useful for my onward journey.

There was no fridge.

2 mattress and 2 blankets. A hotel should follow the international system and not the German system when it comes to sleeping… I booked a queen sized bed not 2 twin beds linked to each other! A bit annoying especially if you’re traveling as a couple.

Friendly staff and good food . The breakfast team made sure the last person and the first person had the same breakfast experience, keeping everything well stocked. The hotel was very clean It was also close to the bus station

Very smart and clean hotel right by the railway station. Reception speaks perfect English, was very attentive and even produced a corkscrew to open my two bottles of special Belgian fruit beers (I gave them a small sample!) I asked for and got a quiet room, but the hotel's central location near the railway line means it won't be silent, though it was OK even on this very hot night. Clean and immaculate room even by German standards. Breakfast is from 06.30 Mons-Sats, 07.30 Suns and Holidays, and is a better than average European buffet, with very attentive staff. Many choices of bread, meats, cheeses, fish, fruit salad, fresh fruit, dried fruits, nuts, 6 sorts of jams (in jam jars), cooked food, cereals, yoghurts, a coffee machine as well as staff bringing you coffee/tea if you prefer, in a large, spacious and very light room. Tubs of ice cream provided free for guests at reception, also bowl of apples on the reception counter, I was given a 50cl carton of mineral water to take with me, and there was a 75cl of mineral water free in my room. Certainly an above average place to stay.

Very clean, spotless in fact. Both the room as the the rest of the hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff alla round: at the desk, in the bar, during breakfast.... Room very clean.

Hotel is very close to the city center of Leer as well as to the bus and train station. Staff was very friendly, and the room was large and comfortable. Also the breakfast was of very good quality.

I'm riding bicycle across europe, the bike area was secure and convenient . I'm not on an E-Bike, I noticed they had power in bike area. + excellent location.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were particularly attentive. Breakfast itself had a wide range of options and could not have been better.
