The situation surrounded by beautiful countryside. Dowfold house was lovely clean and excellent facilities in the room. The breakfast was fabulous homemade jams and chutneys and food bought locally. The owners were friendly. Perfect in fact will go again definitely.🙂🙂

There was plenty to choose from, and freshly cooked every day, a great start to the day. Loved the freshly baked bread with lashings of butter, and the home made marmalade was an excellent choice for the toast.

Lovely comfortable room, excellent breakfast and really hospitable hosts. Such a nice place to stay and really well placed for the shows at Kynren. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

Didn’t get to see the dog. We missed our own….But in all seriousness there was nothing to dislike. Even liked the other people who were staying who were a lovely couple.

Brilliant location with fantastic views. Easy to walk to restaurants for evening meal and we found a very good Italian in Crook. Our breakfast cooked by Rupert was perfect. Homemade produce too. It was a great place to stay on every way.

Set in lovely grounds with fabulous views, the house is really quite special. We stayed in the Green Room, which was very comfortable and spacious, immaculate too. The breakfast was exceptional, as were the lovely hosts.
