The staff was very responsive and helpful. There were a few special requests that I had, and we were accommodated nicely. Check-in was a breeze due to the mobile option, and we were able to manage our day as situations arose without worrying about our reservation being canceled or altered.

It was hard to get into the hotel when we arrived. The entrance was not immediately recognizable, the doors were locked, and there was no staff at the front desk. We had to wait a while until we were let in by a couple of guests. The room was a bit dark and didn't have much natural light. And, the living room area was a bit smaller than I preferred.

Despite first impressions of the reception area, the staff were very nice. My room was perfect and so comfortable. I had a lounge with TV, kitchen area, lots of storage space, TV in the bedroom, along with a lovely king-sized bed. Bathroom had everything I needed and the place was spotlessly clean. Location was perfect for me as five minute walk to the train station, restaurants close by and easy for my son to get to me from Iona. The breakfast area is nice, and although no cooked breakfast, still a good choice of food. I really like that there is a wash room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer for use by guests.

This hotel is currently undergoing some renovation work, so the reception area was covered in plastic sheeting, which was not a good first impression and it could have said this on booking.com, so I knew in advance.

Breakfast provided the nutrients necessary to get the day started. The breakfast space was welcoming, clean and nicely laid out

The dislikes were structural and cannot be easily changed. The bathroom was not well laid out so the door and toilet were way too close to each other, and posed some logistical problems

Residence Inn by Marriot, I didn't feel like I was in a hotel room, I felt like home, the design layout was design of comfort to make the customer feel like home, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room, was well design. I really enjoyed my stay, thank you.

To be honest, the kitchen area by the sink, could need more lighting, under counter lighting would definitely make it exceptional. I hope the next time I visit maybe, just may that will improve. :)

The large patio.

We were disappointed with the breakfast as the breakfast sandwiches were cold one morning. The other morning there was no more sausage patties and no one refilled it. Also we would have liked to know ahead of time that the pool wasn’t available.

The the location was close to where I needed to be and I was familiar with the area. The hotel was in a convenient location and it was very updated inside.

There was a lot of construction in the area that caused you to have to go through a lot of detours to get to other locations that you would like to visit.

Solid hotel based on ease of reservations and location.

The King 1 bedroom layout and kitchen amenities were aligned with my needs. I appreciated the kitchen freezer having the ice functionality already working this time! The front desk staff was very helpful and professional.

Breakfast was really good. The view was amazing where food is served. Had some great snack choices. Staff were extremely helpful and kinda.

Poop wasn’t opened. I think it should be open a little longer into the year.

Great location. Close to shops and eateries. Nice place to stay with the pups. The property had a nice bathroom area for dogs.

There wasn’t a bar. Breakfast was the same every day.
