We knew this was going to be one of the best hotels on the trip, but it was better than we expected for the price we paid. The room was very spacious with a nice tatami area where we could open all our luggage or just chill and eat. The hotel is super new, everything was impeccable. It's very close to one of the JR stations after Kyoto Station, it's a bit of a walk but it was super fine even for us who were carrying big luggage. The area is residential so very calm and silent. The room was very well-lit.

For its low price, the room was very large (which is surprising as most affordable hotel rooms in Japan are quite tiny). It's a tiny trot from the nearest train / bus station (10-15 min) which isn't too bad.

The only reason I'm taking some points off is because there is a strong citrus scent in the rooms, which did bother me quite a lot as it lingered even after opening the window for an entire day. It gave me a little bit of a headache and made it hard for me to fall asleep.

It was very specious, clean, and felt like new. I spent three four nights, and each morning i got new clean towels and pajama, and also a battle of water. It is located a little bit far away from the main city, but actually it was close to all the useful buses to the main attraction, and one train stop from the central station. The stuff were very helpful.

There was too much light getting into the room from the windows, early in the morning.

Elegant hotel with beautiful interior decor. If you like Japanese style decor with a mordern twist, you will definitely enjoy your stay here. Everything was to our satisfaction and the room was larger than we have expected. We also liked the Tatami mat Onand the pink wall paper was very cute.

The property was conveniently located next to a train station. It was in a quiet neighborhood that gave us the feeling of ‘living local.’ The room was big and had two separate bathroom spaces-one for the toilet and another for the shower/bath area. The mini tatami area was a nice touch as well. All amenities were given including pjs and a kettle to warm water. This was our best stay in Kyoto!

This little hotel that offered a spacious room that was a mix of Western and traditional Japanese style exceeded my expectations! The staff was friendly, the level of cleanliness was beyond satisfying and the location was quiet and yet close to the train station, great izakayas, 7-eleven and a Family Mart.

The room was extremely spacious - considering it’s Japan .. could comfortably fit 4 people

Location is one metro stop away from Kyoto station therefore there isn’t much to see or do in the evening unless you venture off back to Kyoto station or other areas

Clean and affordable. Staffs are friendly and room size is quite bigger than the rest of the 3* hotel facilities available in and around japan

Little isolated and away and in residential colony so no restaurants or convenience store nearby and only gets after 10mins walk perimeter

Most everything was fantastic. Beds, AC, Bathroom, and they gave fresh towels and water everyday!

Laundry is pay to use, and that wouldn't be too bad but the unit is a washer/dryer that does not work well.

Bedroom really spacious. Equipped with all the amenities that you need. Nice location not in the city center but really well connected

Not window blinds, so light coming into the room so early
