This hotel is in a peaceful location just 30 minutes from Strasbourg, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The breakfast was exceptional, with fresh and delicious options. We were thrilled to be upgraded to a spacious apartment at no extra cost! The New Year’s Eve celebration was fantastic, with amazing food and a great atmosphere. The host’s kindness and attention to detail made our stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

This place is so perfect! The hotel is traditional where it should be and updated comfort where you want it. Our family suite was ENORMOUS, and I'd wish we had booked it for multiple days. The breakfast was excellent and an incredible value. The nearby town of Oberkirche was fun. And the host's recommendation for dinner was spot on. We highly recommend.

A few anti-slip stickers in the shower floor would have made our stay perfect. I worried about my child showering after I nearly slipped myself.

This is my favorite place to stay in Germany, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is awesome and their dog is so sweet. Located out in the country, nice and quite. If you are wanting to go to the Christmas markets in Strasbourg this is the place to stay. 15 minute drive to the train station then take the train to the Christmas markets.

A beautifully located hotel in a tiny village on a slope overlooking the vineyards and forests of the Oberkirch region. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are perfectly clean, spacious, well lit and modern. The breakfast is delicious and you have plenty of options to choose from. The Wi-Fi works well, which helps as the 4G network is a bit slow. The price is competitive even for the region. The parking is spacious and easy to park. All in all - I can recommend the place whole-heartedly.

I tried, but I could not find something that could be improved. Well - maybe the signs to get to the hotel, as if you don't have a GPS fining the place might be a challenge. But nowadays very few travel without GPS.

Second time here. Lovely location in quiet village with nice view. Amazing breakfast that deserves 11 points out of 10. Spacious room. Recently renovated shower which is great. Private "balcony" outside, on rooftop. Fast Wi-Fi. Trouble-free check-in procedure even if arriving late. New towels every day. Reasonable price. I will definitely return.

Would have been even better if restaurant were open again. Shower doors didn't close properly - preventing flooding of bathroom floor was a challenge. Still giving 10/10 because these are very minor things.

We had a great time! Excellent family hotel, delicious breakfasts, warm croissants, coffee, cappuccino, various cheeses, vegetables, cereals and muesli, bread and rolls, jams, honey, Nutella. Special thanks to the hostess (owner) for the warm late welcome, we arrived late, they prepared a huge family room for us, with everything we needed, beds, towels and a cot.

The hostests are great and always there for you, with a smile. The breakfast is good. We spent 4 nights at the big apartment that was well suited for a 5 ppl family, with a room to parents and room for kids, a cozy saloon in the middle and rooms are big with a 1 big bathroom. The room wasn't renewed lately but felt clean cozy and great for long stay. The hotel is 45 min from EuropePark/Rolantica, 1.5 hours from wine road in French and 45 min from lovely Strasburg.

The Hotel was very quiet, very clean and easy to find. Parking right outside, free. The staff were really helpful and very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean, with a great shower room. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, hot and cols stuff.

Absolutely stunning location, with a great overview on the valley and magical view on the sky at night. Great breakfast with very friendly staff. Spacious room. Nice garden. Overall a very quiet and relaxing place to be. Will probably return.

Room was incredibly hot all the time, woke up several times at night; there was a fan, which helped, but still not ideal. Unpersonal check-in and no opportunity to have dinner at the restaurant: this hotel still seems to keep a rather strict distancing policy with fewer facilities than usual. I feel as if the hotel would have much more of the typical German hospitality (which I did feel during breakfast) on offer without the scaling-down of these facilities.

We chose this accomodation because it is close to Strasbourg (30 minutes by car). The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Clean bathroom. The staff was very kind, communication with them was really easy. Free parking near the hotel. The breakfast was very good and varied at only 6 Euro/person/day.
