Na Nirand is an exceptional place. The property, staff and location was excellent. We were here in December and it was our first destination in Thailand and it did not disappoint! One woman in particular at the front desk helped us schedule both an elephant excursion as well as a cooking class. She was so very kind and helpful. And the food! We ate at the restaurant 3x and the breakfast buffet was over the top delicious. The pool was also really nice and relaxing.

The only thing I can think of was they were doing a little construction but honestly it didn't impact us much because we were not there during the day. Also, the mixed drinks at the bar were a little inconsistent but the beer was always cold and refreshing!

Parts of the hotel were being renovated during our stay but this did not impact on guests. Our Colonial Suite was huge and overlooked the Ping River. It had its own pool area to be shared between the four Colonial Suites. The hotel had lovely touches ... gifts at turndown. We were lucky enough to be at the hotel during the Lantern festival and they went to great lengths to arrange a cultural experience with dinner and entertainment. This was beautifully arranged. The restaurant has a varied dinner menu and meals were tasty and well presented. Do not miss the afternoon tea - just amazing. The detail in food presentation at this hotel is so well done. All staff were courteous and helpful.

Attention to detail was excellent! So many nice little touches that made the stay wonderful! The grounds and pool area were very serene, calming, relaxing. Our room was perfect with comfortable bed, pillows, shower, tub, shampoo/conditioner, soap, toothbrush/toothpaste, shower cap, q-tips, makeup remover, bottle water, fridge etc. We loved the turning down of the bed every night with a special treat in the bamboo basket. The post card to mail home was a special bonus! The grounds were immaculate and clean! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful! All the staff!! We appreciate all of them and all that they did for us!! Breakfast was extremely exceptional!! We loved the presentation and all the lovely extra details like the flower shaped butter, the detail to the yoghurt cups, the fruit cut up. Everything was presented like a work of art!! The omelettes were cooked to perfection! The waffles were the best we’ve ever had! All the Thai dishes were delicious! Amazing breakfast!!

Everything was above and beyond excellent!

The service and staff were impeccable. The grounds, quiet ambiance, and secluded corner of the city were priceless. It was one of the best breakfasts we have had in a long time. The small details really added up: Beautiful upkeep of the grounds, rooms, and spaces. The entire place smells of soft jasmine, even the towels. Nightly turn downs with little treasures to enjoy. The pool has shade, sun, and not overly chlorinated. Bikes, unbreallas, tours. They have it all. It is a wonderful peacful escape for adults to enjoy quiet comfort. We will be visiting again without a doubt.

The bed was really really hard. But prefer that over too soft. The spa was hugely overpriced compared to the local stops with terrific prices, options, and services just a few blocks away. We supported local, but I am sure the ambiance and staff are terrific, just not at 4x the price.

Lovely warm welcome from the staff at the Na Nirand - they couldn't do enough to help. I appreciated their support in arranging an airport pick up given the first time in Chiang Mai. The hotel is right on the river and has a stunning pool surrounded by trees. Ate breakfast and dinner there, both were great. Decent coffee too, which was lovely. Walked from the hotel into the centre of the old town, which took about 25 mins. Plenty to see and do. Also lots of tuk tuks around if walking isn't your thing. The bedroom was really comfy with a separate shower as well as a bath, and it was really peaceful sitting out on the balcony at night. Take mozzie spray! A stunning temple is located next to the hotel, as is a pick up stop for the river cruise boat. Highly recommended.

Building work so a bit noisy all day and the riverside restaurant was closed No pre warning on booking regarding this More storage area in bedroom would have been good and more coat hangers though I appreciate I could have asked for more A few more sun beds in the grass area perhaps as that’s where the sun was

Incredible breakfast buffet and incredible staff. The team helped book us a private driver and we ended up having an unforgettable tour of the national parks outside of Chiang Mai. The photos of the resort don’t do it justice. It’s very clean, with beautiful landscaping and a refreshing cool pool. Perfect to dip into after a warm day exploring the city

Very nice boutique hotel. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Not far from the night market place.

There were renovation works going on, with drilling all day. The main restaurant at the river was closed due to that. I would have found it fair if they would have been transparent about this when booking. Now, we only found out on arrival. The swimming pool is a bit squeezed between the buildings, with limited sunlight or lounge chairs.

We absolutely loved Na Nirand! Our room was huge and tastefully decorated, turn-down service had a little surprise each evening, and the beds were extremely comfy. They also thoughtfully gave us a birthday cake for my husband and a bottle of nice wine. The pool was a delight: so beautifully designed. The breakfast area was stunning next to the river. We got up early one day for a tour and saw the sun rise. Magical. The spa is also great. I got a foot massage one day and a package another (steam, bath, scrub, massage). All were exceptional. And most importantly, the staff are fantastic. Every one of them, from the front desk to the bar to the spa to the cleaners to the restaurant people were helpful, kind, friendly, and welcoming. Thank you! Altogether, our stay at Na Nirand was unforgettable! We hope to return.

Everything was fantastic, but if I had to suggest one thing it would be to have more hot vegan options at the buffet and more vegan options at breakfast altogether.

Fabulous little place with wonderful staff thay make you feel loved and cared for. Balcony with river view waa best choice as is so spacious! A wonderful experience. Cleaning team is wonderful and guest services too evening flower or a treat on our bed every night.Brrakfast is a ray of sunshine with wonderful chef making pancakes and all sorts qirh staff so attentive. Food menu was delicious, dinnees were so beautiful and so tasty all by the river!!! Location couldn't ask for more, tucked away you really feel the resort element with fresh air but access to town and to the river. Brilliant stay. thank you everyone. PS: get a 90 min full body massage as you won't regret it those girls are brilliant! and do ask your pool and dinner bartender for your favourite drink as they are brilliant made us martinis and negronis.
