Great owners who were really friendly. Beautiful location
Not a negative, just something to consider: No a/c so it is a bit hot in summer months, but temp drops enough at night to be comfortable and there is a common area to hang out in

The location under the cliffs looking over the Namibian countryside is truly exceptional. The pool area is relaxing and there is a nice walk up the escarpment. The owners 3 dogs will come with you! If wildlife is your thing, the birds are great with many notable species in the garden. Kudu and Dikdik visit and can be seen easily in the evenings. Dinner and breakfast is superb - the friendly staff do a brai which adds to the atmosphere.
The rooms that form part of the main complex are better quality than the 2 separate bungalows but even these have their own character.

We arrived a lot later than we initially expected but the staff were still very welcoming and accommodating. We organised a tour of Etosha national park through them along with a packed lunch which was amazing (we were unable to finish it all). We had dinner and breakfast there which were both held outside and the view from the terrace was incredible. Dinner was cooked over an open fire next to us. The place was also pretty easy to find. We also went for a walk up some nearby rock which was guided for us by one of the dogs who stay at the lodge...they really looked after us!
We didn't spend enough time actually enjoying the lodge during the day (We were off visiting Etosha on a pretty tight schedule). So there is nothing about the actual lodge that we didn't like / enjoy.

EXCEPTIONAL!!! The owners of the property are the most hospitable, caring, generous, and emphatic people you will meet. We loved our stay here and did not want to leave. The rooms and beds are comfortable, and the view is breathtaking! Staff are friendly and accommodating. Breakfast with homemade jams, breads, and muffins are delicious.. A great stay for family or business trips. Beautiful garden with birdlife and a short hiking trail with panaramic views was a nice add on
That we only had 1 night -we did not want to leave.

We travelled as 2 couples. We booked 2 bungallows, but at check-in we got upgrade to one big family double-room bungallow with 2 bathrooms. That was very nice and pleasant. There were no mosquito nets over beds, but thet was absolutely not necessary as all windows, doors and any other openings were equiped with nets and the room was sprayed. So night was very peacefull without any insects. The pool is a gem! It is quite deep and large and it is constructed as infinity pool: you enjoy your drink and take long view over savanna. Dinner was fantastic - very tasty and big portions (cooked/grilled on coal). Breakfast also delicious. Staff just very nice at any time. We have had very hot water (boiled with wood-heated external tank), wifi worked well. We wish we could stay longer!

Beautiful location amongst the hills and rocks. Wonderful place to stay. Lovely pool with fantasticl views to relax by. Very attractive garden with individual seating areas. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming and the 3 course buffet style evening meal and breakfast were delicious. Just what was needed before and after a day trip to Etosha. There is a lovely walk/hike at the property which will take you up to give you a lovely view of the property from up high. The (very friendly) dogs will show you the way!) We had a wonderful stay here, before and after our day trip to Etosha. We would highly recommend this special place, with reasonable rates.
Everything was perfect. Nothing to dislike.

What a wonderful place. So peaceful and relaxing. We had a wonderful room with excellent catering facilities and a fantastic view. The staff were very attentive wanting to make sure we had every comfort we needed. Lovely bed linen and comfy beds to come back to after a long day on safari. Everyone and the dogs did what they could to make us feel welcome. Lovely pool and relax area where they put the fire on for us all to relax at. This is truly a special place. Yes it is an hour or so from Anderson Gate - But what you get for putting in the effort to stay a little further out than the average closer gate lodges is more than worth the effort of getting up a little earlier to get to Etsosha.
All very pleasant

The Sasa Safari Camp is somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Thus, the infrastructure is a little lacking, there is only limited electricity (hairdryer won't work) and the water for the showers is heated with a wood fire, so you have to anounce some time before, when you want to shower. The rooms have a rough charme, but are quite comfortable. The landscape is just beautiful. The dinner was very good and more than enough. The personal was fabulous, we had a very nice evening and morning with them. It was the best stay we had in our Namibia holiday!

The place is beautiful and full of plants that make you feel in heaven. The food is exceptional. If you are looking for a place with charm, very friendly treatment by the staff and serenity, this is your place. A very special experience with Wilma and her cook. The environment is beautiful, pure nature. Looking forward to returning to Namibia and without a doubt I will repeat in Sasa Safari Camp

The place is in a very nice setting with a beautiful view over the area and we had amazing sunsets. You were also able to book a full day tour to Etosha and the himba village which they arranged for us. The food was very good and we were allowed to stay until two on the property and use the pool without any extra charges. Also the laundry service wasn’t charged. On top they had a very nice hiking trail and the dogs accompany you so you come back home safe. So all in all we had an awesome time and enjoyed everything.
The only minus I could find is that there was no ventilation in the rooms but as we booked the family bungalow there was at least some coolness coming trough the windows. The tour to Etosha was good but we would have wished for some more explanations along the drive and some more interactions with the host.
