Friendly front desk staff. A comfortable lobby with a warm fireplace and complimentary water. They gave you a bottle of water on check-in. There was a coffee maker, refrigerator, and a microwave in each room, which these days seems to be lacking. In most hotels. The beds were comfortable. You could actually open the window to get fresh air in as it would get a bit stuffy and humid. The restaurant next door was fantastic, especially the waffles!
Cleaning crew needs to be very careful as there was hair in the bathtub area. As a former maid, I know how hard it is, but it must be completely clean for the next party. There were two maintenance issues that I forgot to tell the front desk. One was a screw backed out of the bathtub/ shower handle. The other was the screen on the window somebody had messed up.

I didn’t get free breakfast but the staff was friendly. My expectations were low but the room was big and comfortable. It was great having a microwave and fridge and all the bath amenities I needed. Also, it was walking distance to the Space Needle.
The bathroom could use a bit of refreshing and there was construction in the area that hindered my delivery. It was a bit of a maze getting to my room and the elevator did this weird jolt the first couple days that was scary whenever it would rise upward.

The location was great. The size of the room was an upgrade with double queen beds. The view wasn't terrible. It was also within walking distance of Whole Foods.
Breakfast. They don't serve an in-house breakfast. There is a hotel-owned restaurant right next to the hotel. It's not worth the price. You are basically getting the standard DIY breakfast you get included at most hotel chains. The eggs were rubber, and the Belgium waffle was the same as you would have gotten in the self-service breakfast buffet. Too much sugar.

The location was what we needed. We loved the ability to book ridge to cruise boat. The gentlemen that cleans the lobby was outstanding always working in the morning when I came down for coffee. The front desk was amazing with a mix up with booking.
The property being under construction was a little unsightly but they did not awaken us while sleeping. I think you should have had something draped at entry to hallway to take away the look of it. The door keys were horrible they did not work and had to get new ones continually. Reported that it was the knob, no one came to fix.

Amazing breakfast! Not just your typical breakfast bar in most hotels but an actual restaurant that was easy to use and order from. I could even get food to go!
The elevators were under construction so I had to wait so long to use them since only one was open. I ended up just taking the stairs. However, it's not anyone's fault. They're already trying to improve the elevators and there has to be some inevitable downtime. Hopefully, it'll be fixed soon for future guests.

Great location close to restaurants and bike lanes. Friendly staff.
There were a few things beyond the hotels control which made for some inconveniences. One elevator was being repaired so at times we had to wait for 3 to 4 passes to get on the remaining elevator with our bikes. Also, an unfortunate incident where a guest hit a pipe in the garage with their vehicle setting off the entire loud screeching fire alarm system so all the guests including those eating breakfast had to quickly leave the building and wait on the street.

The hotel staff were friendly. The elevators were temporarily out of service while we were checking in, they opened the service elevator to guests so we still had an option for elevators with luggage. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance (or a short and affordable cab ride) to all tourist attractions. 10 minute walk to Space Needle and MoPop and 25ish to Pike Place Market.
Toast-to-Toast restaurant's waffle breakfast. I would recommend you try a different non-waffle option. They advertise a Belgium waffle breakfast for around $20 but what we received were 2 Eggo Waffles (from the frozen section). I will say though that the dinner we had there the night before was delicious and as advertised. I would still recommend you eat there :)

The staff at the Holiday Inn were very friendly - check-in and check-out were very easy, they allowed me to check in early to an available room. They also offered plenty of recommendations for things to see in the area. The location was great for what I needed also - the Space Needle was less than a 10 minute walk and the Pike Place Market and the main shopping areas were a 20 minute walk away. The room had a decent size fridge under the countertop as well as a sink, microwave and coffee/tea machine. The room was very spacious and the bathroom had all necessary facilities needed.
The hotel and facilities are a little dated but the stay was still very comfortable so I can't complain!

The location was absolutely perfect, your within walking distance of the space needle, MoPOP museum, Climate pledge and plenty more.
During my stay they only had one elevator available and it kinda has a mind of its own.. taking us to random floors with no people. The stairs were very confusing the first time trying to navigate through the parking garage and stairways to the rooms. (They have two completely different stairs in complete opposite sides to get from parking garage to hotel rooms)

The bed was very comfortable. We'd liked how light the comforter was. The shower and bath area was just fine.
The towels were scratchy, and only one bath towel provided per person... Though we were freely offered more after asking. Second complaint was difficult access to an electrical outlet from one side of the bed, and difficulty turning the lamps on and off. Thirdly, there were only two parking spots left in the garage when we arrived one of the nights. They were the most difficult to park in because of other people not parking well. We had been assured that there would be no shortage of spots, so that was surprising that it was so difficult.
