Owner Said is a superb host. Location closer to Spanish mosque 15 mins walk which you’d enjoy the view and sunset. It’s small village and this riad is close to Medina where all shoppings and restaurants are in walking distance. The area of this riad is really pretty in blue city. It’s very safe and people are kind to tell the direction. Breakfast in rooftop was the best tasty one among Morocco. I really miss it.

Bring your hairdryer if you need

Could totally recommend this riad. It’s located in old town, walkable distance to everything you need. Room is nice decorated in local style. A lot of flowers in front of the door. Really helpful stuff. Delicious breakfast. One thing you should remember- it’s in medina, so taxi is not able to bring you directly there, several minutes you should go on foot (it’s important for people with heavy luggage). But employees could organise you a person, who could help you to carry your luggage. They also have allowed us to leave our bags there longer, as far as our bus was in the evening.

the owner of this hotel and staff are fantastic. we had left one of our bags on the CTM bus and they went above and beyond to help us locate it. beautiful central location within Chefchouen.

The rooms are huge and well decorated. We had a suite that had multiple sitting areas and which was very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful in resolving any minor glitches. The breakfast was good and served on a roof-top terrace with a great view. All-in-all, we really enjoyed our stay here. It is important to know that this hotel is in a walking area, not accessible by car. That also means that any transport people are not going to be able to get to hotel, so you need to be very clear on where and how you are going to meet them.

Given the location, helping to arrange for the transfer of luggage from car/taxi to the hotel would be appreciated, even if there were to be a cost attached. It is a bit challenging to try to figure it out on one's own.

Fantastic hotel oozing with local art and furnishings. People stopped to take photos of the hotel exterior with its colourful pots and plants. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Amazing breakfast on terrace overlooking town, mountains and across to the Spanish Mosque. Central location, amidst colourful lanes, shops and cafes. Loved our stay here and I will go back.

We decided to stay an extra night but couldn't keep our room. The second room was not as nice, but there is nothing else we can fault this hotel on.

Very cute, family run hotel. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and very helpful. It can be hard to find but they sent someone to meet us where our driver dropped us off (can't get directly to hotel by car) and take us to the hotel. Room was clean, comfortable and very spacious, although bathroom was a little small. Great location, easy to walk to all attractions. Breakfast served on terrace with great selection of food.

Location is absolutely perfect, right in the old town, plenty of beautiful blue streets and really close to the waterfall. The room was very spacious and comfortable and just a really gorgeous place to stay. The terrace was lovely for breakfast. The staff were just wonderful, kind and helpful. They helped us with our bags to and from the car park which was a lifesaver because if walking with luggage from the Bab Al Mahrouk car park, it is not an easy climb/descent!

The staff were friendly and most helpful and the breakfast was delicious and a lot of food! the terrace at sunset is lovely and quiet. Great location.

I went in winter so travelers should know that it’s cold in the mountains and the old buildings are hard to heat. Not the fault of the Dar but good to know.

breakfast could have more options, did not include any fresh fruits or veggies. room a bit tight for our family of 5. we took the Shahreyar room. also u have to pay extra for a couple of guys to carry luggage from parking to hotel as it’s not accessible by car. it’s about a 10min walk: normally 40-50DH but depends on number of luggages u have. make sure to call hotel on arrival as the parking guy called some of his friends who took 150DH on arrival but we didn’t know any better and couldn’t reach the hotel number. Ms Ayanna greeted us warmly and was very helpful with recommendations for activities and sites. Mr Yousef and the rest of the staff were very accommodating. we had 2 rooms for a group of 7. Aladino was a very comfortable 2 bed room. Sultana was a room with 6 bunk beds that were all surprisingly comfortable. This room did not have ac but had a fan. An extra fan or ac would have made it even more comfortable. The breakfast was AMAZING! lovely warm local breads, honey, olives. Then ending in a lovely cup of mint tea.

There is a short walk from the taxi drop off to the “riad .” If you have heavy or a lot of luggage, it may be a bit cumbersome ( but there are folks at the taxi stand willing to help with luggage).
