Quirkily decorated, clean and spacious room. Great shower. A coffee machine, bottled water, safe & fridge, as well as a good area to set your luggage up on, plus loads of plugs and mirrors. Bed was decent. No balcony booked. A locked room to store bags pre and post check in/out. Good roof top pool area with ample loungers, towels and bar (great cocktails), for September time anyway. We were on the 9th floor and had no noise issues, considering this is in a relatively lively nightlife area. Could hear a little noise but had no issue sleeping. The breakfast was decent and in a spacious area which is on until 11am. Believe you can get wristbands to get free into clubs but we didn’t avail of this.

No hair drier or ironing board but could maybe request.

Good buffet breakfast. Large room. Comfortable bed. Large shower, good water pressure and hot water. Fast WiFi. Lovely personnel, especially the Colombian woman at the reception (don’t know her name unfortunately). There was a problem with someone smoking in a room one night at 1am (despicable) and the fire alarm went off in the whole hotel and lasted about half an hour. The next morning the management dropped an envelope with an apology letter, reimbursed us the room fee for that night, gave us a €75 voucher to dine at Hugo’s lounge across the street, and a bottle of wine. We were incredulous. What an excellent way to treat your customers!!!!! Thank you !

While breakfast was fresh and delicious, having spent a week there we hoped for a little more variety. But certainly it was more than good enough.

Really nice rooms and let us sleep in without any hassle

I have stayed in St Julians maybe 10 times or more now and stayed in many places. I hate the location of the SO City Hotel - what I mean by that is it is on the most horrible street in the area, rife with drunks, pickpockets and drugs - and worse! - like NEVER go for a drink down that street, with the dangerous AF steps. I thought that my stay would be noisy and unpleasant, but I couldn't have been more wrong. Excellent new and clean hotel, and they must have soundproofed the rooms as I could hardly any noise at all from the very very busy streets below my room. Large walk in shower in my room. Breakfast was great as well. I will 100% look to stay here again, without hesitation. It was perfect for all my needs and in the perfect location for where I needed to be.

I will give the hotel a high score just so as not to spoil the general score, but I hope that the management will correct the minuses that I will point out: the noise is very present in the rooms because on the ground floor but also in the whole Paceville area the music is very loud and can be heard everywhere , the reception, the breakfast staff, cleaning and security are totally out of sync: one thing I say, another I do, you can wake up with all kinds of surprises, with hotel security at 3 in the morning knocking on the door, in hallways smelling of cigarette smoke or other herbs... in short, our expectations for an adult's only hotel were perhaps too high. The hotel is ok only if you come especially for clubs from which you leave at 4 am euphoric. A disappointing experience in general.

Noize, unprepared staff, a bit disorganized.

I stayed at this hotel for my first ever solo trip and I really enjoyed my stay. I loved the decor, everywhere was very clean, staff helpful and friendly. It was my birthday during the trip & the hotel left me some cakes & a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch so thank you for that! The rooftop pool was stunning with amazing views. The location of the hotel is right next to clubs so you can hear noise throughout the night but the hotel provided ear plugs so I slept absolutely fine. Breakfast was included in my stay and it was probably the best full English I’ve ever had abroad! Overall would definitely recommend this hotel & the price was great too.

We had an overall nice experience at the hotel. The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally kind, willing to assist and displayed great professionalism—something we truly appreciated. The area was noisy at night, but we were prepared for that as we knew the nature of the location when booking. We would have appreciated more detailed information about the hotel upon arrival. Even so, we left satisfied with our stay.

The room was modern, but it lacked adequate ventilation, resulting in a stifling atmosphere. This was likely due to the window being sealed, presumably for safety reasons.

Absolutely amazing! especially when you consider the value for money. We stayed for 7 days with breakfast every day for really not a lot of money. The cleaning service was great, the hotel staff was great, the hotel has this very modern graphic design vibe. The location is also great! We are quite sad that we didn't come to the hotel during pool season, because it looks great on photos.

There is however, one trade off when booking this hotel and that is that it is situated on a party street that is quite loud. But booking a room on a higher floor could help alleviate some of that. But for getting such an amazing hotel at a great location for such a price I did not mind the noise at all.

- Very kind staff. They were able to check me in a bit early. - I did not realize this was a party district until after I booked, but even as a non-partyer I found the location good. The noise was surprisingly tolerable from the top floors. They provide ear plus but I didn’t need them. - The room is well equipped with all the essentials and cleaning was regular. Good WiFi. Sometimes power flickered off but never for longer than a minute. - Very unique and eccentric theme.

- Breakfast, although mostly good, had the worst scrambled eggs that I have ever had. It was so bizarre because everything else was good but the eggs. The bitterness was truly shocking. - Because of the hotel’s location, you cannot get a taxi or rideshare at certain times of the day. Plan ahead to walk up the street if you have an early flight.

First of all the location is amazing. You are in the epicentre of Paceville.The public transport, shopping malls, restaurants and fast food places are like 30m away from hotel. Second: Room was clean and spacious. Staff is really friendly and will answer all your questions. And third: the design is really interesting. Haven’t seen anything like this before. I liked it.

It get’s a bit loud on weekend nights because it’s in Paceville. And the walls are bit thin, so you will hear your neighbours. But for me it was just fine and it didn’t bother me.
