The size of the room was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable & thought that was great it had a wireless charger next to the bed! I was really impressed with the breakfast! Delicious, especially the breakfast potatoes! Loved the carnita option. I appreciated the hotel staff texting me after we checked in to let me know if I had any problems I could message them.

I think the trash cans in the room could be bigger, especially when you have a family of 4 staying. When we went to the pool on Sunday morning, there were no towels within sight. Obviously it gets slick around the pool area, maybe some special nonskid strips could be distributed at least in the bathroom thats attached to the pool area.. my 4 year old slipped when she stepped foot in there (thankfully she was okay.)

The room was very comfortable, had all that we could need for our weekend stay, and the staff was very friendly and helpful with all of our needs. Commuting to the airport was a breeze for our early flights, and the hotel shuttle was at the ready - friendly and quick. A real plus!

The floors were very thinly carpeted, unfortunately - and this only became an issue because the guests directly above us had a lot of movement both nights of our stay, traveling up and down the length of the floors pretty constantly during sleeping hours, which became difficult for sleep, or getting back to sleep. The good news is that the front desk really helped by managing the situation when we reported this - and were just wonderful in helping us.

Our room was spacious and clean.

The parking lot is way too small. There were a lot of commercial vehicles parked over the parking lines which made it difficult for us to find a parking spot. The breakfast stopped refilling food at 9:30am (30 minutes before breakfast is supposed to end). When we asked if she was going to bring out more, she made it seem like we were bothering her and told us no.

I love love love this hotel!!! It was so much better than I expected. I wish I could stay longer! Very welcoming and friendly receptionist, huge room with the most comfortable bed and pillows! I am always cold and I was super happy to see an additional blanket available! Very big walk in shower, would fit three people! Kitchen with everything You will need! The biggest fridge I've seen in hotels. Lots of parking space, per friendly. This is an absolute perfect place to stay! I highly recommend it!

Close to the airport, yet, not really within walking distance, need a taxi or Uber (which can take time to get, as Des Moines is somewhat rural). The hotel is modern, bright, and clean, and everything is functional. Staff friendly and professional. Spacious room with all the amenities.

Breakfast is ok, not very keen on this kind of egg; got the impression that they are from a long-life cartoon with their rubbery consistency. Can be far out of you have business to attend to towards central Des Moines. At least a 15 to 20-minute car ride.

Seemed brand new -very nice!!

The fire alarm went off a little as 9pm and it seemed an eternity before it was stopped- We were told someone went out a wrong door! With the extremely bright lights flashing and the blaring sound it was very unsettling!! I understand that had there been an actual fire I Would have been more appreciative

Absolutely the largest room I have ever gotten for the price. It has a full kitchen with an electric stove, fridge and dishwasher! The facility was also very clean. The hotel was really kind enough to let me plug my EV into one of the exterior outlets (must have your own extension cable).

We could tell that there was a decent amount of people staying in the hotel but we never were bothered by hearing anyone though the door or late at night up and down the hallway. 15 minute drive from downtown was perfect. We did not use the airport but seemed only 5 minutes away with a shuttle in front ready to go.

There was no power when we arrived and had to delay our check in due to this. It would have been nice to get a small discount for this since we could not relax in our room after driving 5 hours there. Fine, we went out and had dinner and came back 2 hours later. Once we were checked in, we did not have a key to the room yet due to that still having issues so then we were stuck in the room until the key could be made an hour or so after that. Breakfast options were ok but we really noticed how many people where staying there when we tried eating. Had to wait for clean forks for about 20 minutes and coffee had run out early without getting refilled before we needed to leave.

Nice atmosphere. Room layout was good. Very modern look and feel.

I would "not" stay on the first or second floor. Being on the second floor, several children were running in the third floor hallways all hours of the night, very annoying.

I’m not a b’fast fan so didn’t use that service, but the bacon sure smelled good! Guess I’m a smell person because I did take note that the hotel smelled fresh and clean each time I came into the building.

The welcome mat rugs at the entry of the side door were stained and the carpet at the entry was already showing wear.
