Everything very clean and tidy, staff very good and had better English than we had French language. Good size room with two comfortable chairs, which is very unusual, and the bed provided a very good nights sleep. The food in the restaurant was amongst the best I have eaten, and I am not easily impressed.

The wifi did not work for any of our devices as we kept getting messages that the hotels certificate was out of date. We could no doubt have mentioned it the the owner, but for one night it was not worth worrying anyone about it.

This was a return visit to Hotel Le Gue du Holme. It is an ideal location for exploring the south of the Cotentin peninsula. The car-park is safe. We had a quiet spacious room overlooking the garden. The dinner was exceptional - the best meal of our French tour, and served in a pleasant and airy dining room. Good wine and attentive table service. Breakfast the next morning was in a different room, overlooking the garden. Again, a very good breakfast with good coffee. We will certainly return.

We had a large airy room. Bed was very comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant - very nice menu, and everything well presented. Good breakfast with local produce and fresh bread. Good parking on the property.

Nothing - we only stayed one night but would have enjoyed being at the hotel longer.

Dinner was superb on both nights, served in a comfortable dining room. The menus provided good choices, and all food was carefully cooked and beautifully presented. Madame, who was front of house was an excellent host. I believe her husband was the chef. All staff were very pleasant and well trained in all aspects of the hotel. Breakfast was good, there is a cooked option if desired. A joy to stay there.

Only one slight quibble, the shower in our bedroom was over the bath. However, it was adequate.

This is our go to hotel when travelling south or north on Normandy. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. The staff are always very happy to see you and help in any way. The evening dinner service is fabulous and good value. Breakfast is very good and served in a breakfast room. If you like good food and service you will not be disappointed unless of course you are fussy.

Good location near Avranches. Efficient reception. Proprietress is welcoming and friendly. Superb restaurant with excellent choice of food and wine. Room contained a flat screen TV and separate toilet and bathroom. Walk-in shower with toiletries provided. Bed very comfortable. Have stayed on many previous occasions and will do so again.

From the welcome at check in to paying our bill on leaving everything about our stay was excellent.Room overlooking a beautiful garden, comfy bed . Had evening meal in the restaurant, on both nights best food we have ever eaten in France,from service to plate 1st class.We went to the little bar on the corner so welcoming.Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wifi gave security warning as not safe so could not connect.Luckily we had data.

We booked a table for dinner and the food was AMAZING!!! Really everything was of great quality, cooked to the point and the desserts I consiered as art. We loved it and hopefully we will be getting back there next time when we are coming to this area.

The bed was a bit too soft for me but my husband and our friends said it was perfect, so it is probably just me. The room could have been a bit bigger but as it was just for one night and we did not take the luggage in (just a small bag), so it was absolutely ok. Any time again for just an overnight stay.

Rooms were great overlooking garden area. Can recommend the restaurant we had an excellent meal and wine. Easily accessible from the N175 making it ideal for our drive from Normandy beaches across to Mont Saint-Michel and then further on

Wine list although I suppose in line with the fine dining was expensive especially for France Could have included some 'cheaper' wines bearing the quality available especially in France
