The junior suite was way bigger than we expected. More like a nice spacious 3BR 1.5 bath apartment with a beautiful view of viverone lake. Sauna was new and worked great. Loved the window darkness for sleeping in. Never used the jacuzzi in bedroom because it looked a little dated and no exhaust fan. The breakfast was always plentiful with delicious cakes. The man and older woman at the check in were very friendly and kind when we needed something. The cleaning staff was exceptional as well.

We had a litte bit of an ant issue but it was treated right away. We wish the .5 purple bath was full and had an actual space for toilet paper. Both bathrooms could've used an additional shelf for towels and toiletries. Kitchen wasn't fully equipped with knives or proper microwave dishes and other utensils at first, but the man at the front desk came to make things right immediately. Microwave was dated. Pool towels would've been nicer than using our bath towels from our room. Pool liner can use an upgrade. Wi-fi was very spotty.

We loved the traditional charm of the hotel and the very friendly welcome from the older lady on reception and the two men who served us in turn at breakfast. The swimming pool was lovely, very quiet considering it was peak season. We loved the breakfast, the omelette especially was lovely!

My only complaint was a few nights of noise until early hours coming from a nearby bar, not the hotels fault but did effect sleep on those nights.

Room was excellent and well kept. Shower could use grab bars for us senior citizens to get in and out as bottom surface did not have anti-slip protection. Staff was excellent.

Swimming pool, a little on the dirty side. Also last step going in is a long way down, could use some indication. , Hydromassage, almost impossible for a senior citizen to get in safely.

The Hotel is close to the lake and the restaurant is on right on the shore. I got a delicious omelette for my breakfast. Good to have a balcony good to dry my washed pilgrim clothes.

The WiFi reception in my room wasn’t good enough to be stable. Down near the lobby it was fine.

The hotel is delightfully located on the lake. The atmosphere is relaxed with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The hotel was clean, neat and tidy.

Generally it was OK. The swimming pool was turning green which was unfortunate because we fancied a swim. Some of the staff at breakfast looked like they had just fallen out of bed.

we arrived in morning after along flight from paris. staff took pity on us and we were in our room about 11.00 am. this was such a blessing as we hadn’t slept much in 36 hours. property is located in great part of town. couple of blocks from Raffles. food was available nearby. room was well equipped and bed was super comfortable. we really tested them out!

Beautifully located on Lago Viverone, waking up is a real treat with a view like that. The hotel is a bit older and the rooms are dated, but it adds to the charm for some guests. Rooms are quite large and we had access to a nice balcony on the second floor. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. Our little dog Smokey was the star of the show! Breakfast was great too!

Rooms and common areas are a bit dated.

Friendly staff. Luxury rooms (we might have benefited from an upgrade, the quadruple room was indeed a very roomy appartment with sauna and spa!). Location just in front of the lake, with view. Large and clean swimming pool with enough chairs to accomodate all guests at the time we went. Good value for money!

We have been stopping at this hotel for years on our way from England to our place in Canino. It is a relaxing place after so much motorway driving. It’s calm. It’s always there. It’s home.

This is a special place, it is what it is. Nothing not to like.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The location is fantastic and we had a lake view!

Hard to say but maybe a small kettle in the room to have a cup of tea in the morning. The restaurant did open at 07.15 so wasn't a big issue.
