Loved the location, particularly loved the guest lounge area on level 1. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I couldn’t get to the bottom of what the open hours of the guest lounge were. I was originally advised that it was available 24 hrs a day, but on the days we were in residence it closed and excluded entry at differing times. The shower would not drain properly, the rainwater shower head seemed to provide more water than the drain could cope with and as such showers could be no longer than 2 minutes or so or you flood the bathroom, also the slow water drainage meant soap suds were last to drain making the tiled shower surface extremely slippery.

(1) if I book a double room I would like to have a bed that doesn’t have the crack in between, where I fell during the night; if I wanted to sleep away from my wife I would have booked a two beds room (2) for such a location and such a hotel, it is somewhat puzzling there isn’t a bar where to relax at the end of a full day of tourism before dinner (yes one can have a glass of wine at the restaurant but it isn’t the same) (3) I could hear the people of the room above walking/ stomping

Really great location, right in the centre. There's not much parking on the island so we parked in P2 off the island (€7/day and a 25 min walk), pretty easy. Breakfast was great.

Very warm in the room overnight and the aircon made so much noise we couldn't have it on. Not the end of the world but it's the reason for the lower comfort score.

The hotel was old but kept very well inside. The AC worked great and our room was cozy with a nice bathroom. Nothing grand but above my expectations!! It looked out at the harbor so I was delighted. Breakfast was beyond any I have seen in hotels. The fruit was ripe and covered almost any type desired! Everything was mouthwatering!

I normally like more modern but on my a European journey it is fun to stay in some of the older venues. This was a gem and we found not one thing we didn’t like!

This was a rather spontaneous booking for us. We came late on our way back home from Italy. We were greeted incredibly friendly and professionally by the lady at the front desk who accompanied me to the garage to show me where to park our car (I think she even stayed past her shift). The room was neat and clean. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were very helpful and polite. We felt very welcome and comfortable.

Parking in the garage cost us 21€ - which we were only told on the morning. But I won’t deduct points because we liked it so much ;)

good size room and bathroom with window. comfortable beds and nice lounge room available with free drinks. The terrace overlooking the lake for breakfast is also very nice, too bad for the wasps that forced us to eat inside

the reception is closed at night and they do not leave a telephone number for emergencies the location is nice but very inconvenient for dropping off luggage, they don't even have an area to leave the car at least 10 minutes. Difficult to get information via booking messages, they do not respond and respond very vague

The breakfast room was excellent and the staff were very kind and helpful.

The parking situation upon immediate arrival was problematic from the very unfriendly policemen threatening my wife with tickets to the person parked behind the hotel being irate and rude.

The hotel is located by the port of Lindau so you can enjoy all kind of entertainments throughout the city. Railway station is just a few minutes on foot, as well as the boats serving the lake. Room was very cleaned Breakfast was great

Pretty hotel in the best location just walk out on to the promenade with bars, restaurants and bistros on your doorstep. Captain’s club lounge for residents has a great balcony for breakfast etc. Very quiet in the night even though all restaurants were full.

Nothing bad to say

It was close from the train station, which was great for us. Staffs there were very nice, except the front desk lady who was on the phone all the time, it seemed to me. We waited rather long to have quick questions answered, check-in and/or check-out. However, if that was the norm in Lindau, I am totally willing to change my mind about the impressions I got from the front desk lady.

The impression of the hotel would be much better if the front dest lady wasn't talking on the phone for a long time when we needed her. She was nice when she was available, so it's just my simple wish.
